Well, it’s taken a few days but I have finally figured out why it’s so pointless to have a political conversation with a Liberal. It is pointless because you are really having a debate with the Mainstream Media (MSM), PBS, MSNBC and most other news services and talk shows around the dials of your T.V., who are, for the most part, oracles for the DNC.

Radio, fortunately, is dominated by Conservative personalities, with a few failing Liberals floundering around trying to conjure up an original thought. Which brings me to my confrontation with a local Liberal.

Strangely enough, the Dumbplumber is….a plumber. And from time to time it is his unfortunate experience to engage a Liberal in a short conversation about the state of our union. Usually, the shorter the better, because he usually ends the conversations when the Liberal either states a categorical and highly repeated fabrication or they begin emitting rabid spittle at the mention of George Bush. Because anything said after the mention of Bush begins to sound a lot like a rerun of Chris Matthews, Rachael Maddow, Ed (the Mouth) Schultz or PBSs Bill Press. Drivel cubed.

My confrontation with the local Liberal was no less enlightening. The standard answers to my mention of any of our pressing problems goes something like this: George Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld or the last bastion of blame, Republicans.

For instance, the cause of our financial crisis isn’t Barney Frank, Chris Dodd or refusal of our Congress to oversee a financial hysteria that allowed people without a job to buy a $300,000 house. No the blame goes to Bush and Rumsfeld’s war in Iraq. Nevermind that the 9 years of the Iraq war has cost us somewhere around $800 billion, the housing crisis has cost the U.S combined, accumulated losses of between $12 and $20 trillion.

And if you postulate that we could have paid for the entire Iraq War with the money lost to Medicare (over $100 billion a year) through waste and fraud, a Liberal begins to channel Linda Blair in the Exorcist. With green pea soup spewing, I get: “It was Bush’s War“, “the Republicans let Bush go in and kill Saddam Hussein“. And the mother of all delusion, Iraq didn’t commit 9-11. (Author’s note: I never said they did). What I didn’t have a chance to say was that Saddam was threatening his neighbors with WMDs and had already invaded Kuwait once. But with my exit this never got said.

At the very mention of reforming entitlements the heads of Liberals explode. It is not enough to piss away hundreds of billions on Medicare fraud, Social Security’s bastard step-child SSI or backfilling tens of billions of the public pension system’s bad decisions, we now must look forward to refinancing foreign bank losses as well. The acceptable meme of the Left is that, “we can’t let our weak or our allies suffer”.

I’m remembering the profound words of Nancy Pelosi when she said, “welfare and unemployment stimulates the economy“. Or put another way, Liberals are, “stupid cubed”.

The very notion that any of our Republican candidates for president have gotten this far without mentioning any of these crisis issues is beyond my comprehension. Instead they are high centered on the inequities of venture capitalism, dead Catholic babies and whether or not abortion, gun and voting rights are States Rights issues.

Nope, you can’t make this up.

Questions about Christmas

After a little over six decades of absorbing facts, figures and fictions, dressed up to look like facts, I still have questions.

Question One: Every year we are lectured to about the ‘meaning of Christmas’. You know, it’s not about the shopping, gift giving and extravagant efforts to impress a lot of really self-absorbed nimcompoops. It’s about the birth of Christ and what it means to mankind. The birth of God’s son and ‘His’ message that will be sent through Christ to all.

With that in mind, why and who are the people killing and maiming each other over a pair of $180 Nike Airs?

Question Two: The lectures continue that it is God’s wish for Peace on Earth and Good Will toward Men.

But what has happened when 300 bargain hunters blow out the front doors of a Best Buy to get to a $299, 32inch flat screen t.v.?

Question Three: If 80% of Americans claim to be Christians, is it the 1% of Muslims, the .5% of Hindus, the 3.7% of Jews or the 15% of non-religious Americans kicking in the doors to get the bargain basement deals in the final hours of Christmas shopping? (I know it doesn’t add up to 100%, but I had to leave out the dozens of microscopic religions and the tin-foil-hat wearing moonbats that we share air with)

Question Four: If it is a fact that it is better to give than receive, why oh why doesn’t Congress ‘GIVE’ us a break, instead of voting over and over to put us into Receivership?

Question Five: If everyone in Congress and the Administration believes that bi-partisanship is essential to a stable government, then how do we square that with the knowledge that bi-partisanship is how we got to where we are, poising for a Swandive into the abyss?

I Had a Dream

I had a dream this morning (actually a day dream). I dreamt that after Mitt Romney secured the Republican nomination (after the Dems had eliminated everyone else), Sarah Palin glommed onto the also-rans and mounted a Conservative Party challenge to the Brylcreem RINO candidate. I saw Allan West as VP, Newt as Secretary of State, Cain at Commerce, Bachmann at Justice and Paul Ryan at Treasury.

I also saw Huntsman as a tour director at the Tabernacle, Ron Paul as the ’Nurse Ratched’ at a Texas loon bin and Rick Perry as Texas Governor (anything else just isn’t big enough).

The long and short of it is a political apocalypse. Mittens wouldn’t know what hit him. It would be a ‘Mission to Save America’ from itself.

Palin mounts the stage with her team of committed conservatives and lays out the plan to save America, after telling us just how screwed we are. She would cite chapter, line and verse of our situation and point her finger at those that brought us to this dance. No sitting politician, banker or lobbyist, involved with our demise, would be spared. No vote would be asked for that didn’t come with a pledge to purge the rolls of Wall Street, Congress and Kst lobbying firms of the vermin that has put America on the brink of disaster.

I see the masses coming together, once they realize their plight, in groups that would need ten Super Bowl stadiums to seat. The roar of outrage would be deafening. America would mobilize to end the madness and send the Liberals, RHINOs and Socialists packing to the darkness of the cracks from where they came.

Uh, uh, uh. Harumpfh, snarful, kerpiffle. Sorry about that. Remember it was just a dream.

The Big Game

It came to me in the wee hours that the financial predicament we are facing may just well have a metaphoric comparison that we can understand, even if the Fed and our political leaders do not.

Congress, the President and the Fed have taken a ‘hike’ from the five yard line and have thrown a ‘Hail Mary’ pass from the end zone. So far, it isn’t about who is going to catch it. It’s about how high it was thrown; how far it was thrown; how many slo-mo shots will be taken of it in the air; how many time outs will be called while it’s in the air; how many commercials (fiddling by Congress) will run after the throw and whether or not the game will be called because of weather before the ball is caught.

About the only things for certain are: The game will NEVER end; the ball will never be caught (because it was never intended to be caught) and the spectators are trapped in the stadium, because the doors were nailed shut after kickoff.

But not to worry, no matter what you had when you got to the game, you won’t have it if you are ever allowed to leave.

Digging Holes

It is often said, when you discover you are in a hole, stop digging.

Well, America, especially America’s leaders have been in a hole for quite awhile and they’re still digging. It could be argued that this trait is so important that in the future possessing the DNA of a Honey Badger will be necessary to hold public office.

And it took the longest time to realize that they weren’t digging with a couple of John Deere backhoes. No, it appeared that they had fired up a fleet of Buffalo Springfield steam shovels, that have a bucket that can hold six Chevy Silverados side by side, and were running them 24/7/365, in high gear.

As an aside, construction codes require that any trench more than five feet deep have safety ‘shoring’ to protect the diggers from collapse. Well folks, we could fall and mill every tree in America and you wouldn’t have nearly enough lumber to shore up the hole we’re in.

Then it occurred to me that we are confusing ‘digging a hole’ with a ‘Black Hole‘. The difference being one you continue to make bigger and the other consumes everything that comes near it and still wants more and more.

Of course, once something is consumed by a Black Hole, no one knows what happens to it. Sound familiar?

Yes my friends, a Black Hole far more accurately describes what is going on today. Our leaders can’t explain what happened to the taxes we paid last week, meanwhile they scheme to seize earnings of our heirs, into infinity and beyond. And they do this knowing full well that they will never be held accountable for what they do with what they take.

So from this day forward, you can live with the full knowledge that comparing our leaders with John Deere tractors is an insult to the tractors. Because every John Deere I know gives back far more than it takes.

Getting Hosed

Let me get this straight, everyone in power professes that we must honor the Constitution. Okay, let’s review.

The President is using his Cabinet and agencies as a cudgel to bludgeon commerce into submission, beating them like a drum with higher taxes, an endless permitting process, and onerous environmental regulations. Meanwhile, he has taken to military actions without congressional approval, spending billions pounding foreign military dictators into submission, so that the Muslim Brotherhood can take control of contested countries.

Congress, on the other hand, (which hasn’t passed a budget for almost three years) makes itself busy passing Spending Bills and semi-monthly Continuing Resolutions to keep the paychecks flowing and the Party going, between rounds of faux-arguments over raising the Debt Ceiling and ‘manufactured’ outrage over out of control spending, lack of border control, blatant voter fraud and unsustainable entitlements. But there’s nothing to see here. Everything is under control.

Meanwhile, Appellate Courts are ruling in favor of MORE spending, LESS personal responsibility and absolutely NO adherence to the Constitution. And those nine Ninnies on the Supreme Court are hearing landmark cases years after the damage has been done and hundreds of billions have gone out the door, at the expense of taxpayers. Oops, we bad. Where, pray tell, do I go to get my taxes back?

Nevermind that nowhere within the confines of Washington D.C., do we hear the words, “$100 trillion dollars in Debt and Unfunded Liabilities”.

We hear instead: It’s tax the rich, (even though it’s been established that, if you took all the wealth from the top 5% of the wealthy, it would run our government for less than eleven months), give it to the poor (that over 50% of which have refrigerators, televisions, tattoos and cell phones), build government (which gets 30 to 60 percent higher wages and benefits than the private sector). And the 800 lb gorilla in the room, extend unemployment benefits into the infinity and beyond. What could possibly go wrong?

In short, “We are so Screwed”.

If you want to see hate, wait until the Moonbats stop receiving their formerly unending unemployment checks; stop receiving food stamps (the sale of which supports their drug addictions, tattoo collections and alcohol consumption); stop receiving their free healthcare (exacerbated by all the above); stop receiving their SSI benefits because it is discovered that their PTSD, ADD, ADHD and any other form of “D” disability has been deemed ‘manufactured’; stopped receiving Section 8 housing subsidies, because the original beneficiary, ‘Mom’ has been dead for five years, etc.,etc..

You will discover then, and only then, what true “hate” is.

Time for Honesty

It’s time for a little honesty in our Public Servants. Therefore, from this time forward, Dumbplumber suggests that all government officials, law enforcement, even the president, should NOT take the Oath of Office. Mostly because the oath commit’s the oath taker to “support and defend the Constitution“, which every day the office holders will most likely violate.

If there is to be an oath, let it be to an Official Code of Conduct, to the ACLU and to ambulance chasers everywhere that will sue public officials for as little as a casual, misinterpreted glance.

I suggest this for two reasons: One, officials fear the latter far more than the Constitution. And two, the Constitution for all its simplicity and clarity, could never be argued, with a strait face, in any court in America

We hear so much about “compromise” and “consensus” these days, it must not occur to anyone that compromise and consensus is what brought us to this dance. The rocket scientists on Capitol Hill all agree that the “system is broken” but no one admits that they are the ones responsible for fixing it.

Let‘s all agree, Congress holds the purse strings of government. Check. Congress keeps raising the debt ceiling. Check. Congress continues to spend money well beyond the amount received in taxes. Check. Congress hasn’t produced a budget in over two years. Check. Instead Congress authorizes what is described as “continuing resolutions”, which is no where to be found in our Constitution. Check.

The President directs the agencies of government to do what He wants in spending their budgets. Check. The President directs the U.S. Treasury to backfill the spending shortfall by selling U.S. Debt to countries like China and Saudi Arabia, who really don’t like us very much. Check. The U.S. is currently borrowing about $1.5 trillion a year, or 40% of every dollar we spend. Check.

Everyone agrees that ‘excessive’ regulations stymie private enterprise and therefore discourage business, which results in lower tax revenue. Check.

However, these agencies continue to churn out over 90,000 pages of regulations each year, not one of which stimulates commerce. Check. But Congress nor the Administration has done anything to eliminate or even slow the tidal wave of regulations. Check.

Liberals believe that we can spend our way to prosperity, by borrowing money from our enemies and giving it to the unemployed, the disabled (no matter the level of disability), grifters, scammers and anybody else sucking at the government teat that will vote Democrat. Check.

Republicans (note how I did not say Conservatives) believe that expanding the tax base, by encouraging business through relaxing excessive regulations and lowering taxes, while cutting expenses is the most efficient way to prosperity. However “both” parties continue to give away taxpayer money to Agriculture, Manufacturing and Energy to maintain their campaign cash flow and voting blocks. Check.

Voting Americans continue to re-elect Congressmen, Senators and Presidents, who maintain this status quo. Check.

Finding Faith

Finding Faith

It was only a couple of weeks between a well intentioned phone call from some very nice lady, who asked if I studied the Bible and a visit from a local contractor, who was going door to door spreading the Word. To both I was polite, but firm when I said that I had a very personal and ongoing relationship with God. I talk, he listens.

But it got me to thinking, what is Faith?

Well, to some, faith is gathering and increasing the flock as my contractor friend was doing. To others it is getting up Sunday morning and attending services at their local house of worship, then getting home for a one o’clock kickoff. Yet to others it is kneeling at the bedside to utter prayers or to simply say grace at the dinner table.

We all know that Muslims pray five times a day, when they are not beating their wives for backtalk, killing their daughters for dating outside the religion or plotting to kill those that don’t share Mohammad’s teachings. Meanwhile, they proclaim they are the ‘religion of peace’, as long as your religion is also Islam. Nevermind that it is Islamic terrorists that are the source of 99% of regional conflicts around the world today.

But it isn’t only Muslims that are rigid theocratic idealogues. There are many over the world that make religion and faith the center of their lives without benefit of being clergy. Missionaries travel world over doing good deeds, while activist religious laypeople work tirelessly within communities giving comfort, distributing food, clothing and arranging shelter to those in need, while others volunteer to teach Christian values to youth and others as a need to be filled.

No sir, there may be no end to the way faith is expressed. But one thing is for sure, there is no end to those that pontificate what it should be. Myself, I will keep up the dialog until I’m told differently or finally just told to shut up. I know, I know it may be considered a nagging thing.

Old Trucks Are the Future

Ok, so the Dumbplumber is an old truck junkie, Car Crazy to the bone. There I said it. I’ve been told that you can’t start recovery until you admit you have a problem. Well, if loving old trucks is an illness, mine is terminal. I have four pickup trucks from 67 through 72 and a ‘79 1-ton boom truck along with an ‘82 4X4 diesel (with 62 thousand ‘original’ miles, thank you very much) for good measure.

Okay, I keep the ‘72 Blazer and ‘67 step side as “project” trucks (both run) on non-op, but the rest I use in my water pump business, all licensed and insured.

Call me crazy, but I can own, license and insure these old work trucks for less money than I can own one ‘new’ ¾ ton 4X4. Add to that, I can buy any part I need out of a catalog. Yes my bling loving friend, I can even buy cabs, motors and frames if the need arises and at a cost far less than a new truck. Nevermind that I always have a truck to drive while another gets repaired.

But let us just take a look at the economical aspect of this position. If I can get 12 to 15 mpg out of one or two of my $3,000 trucks, how many miles do I have to drive a new one getting 18mpg, when it costs $35,000 new, with another $3k to $4k a year to license and insure? And that doesn’t factor in the $10k you lose the moment you drive off the lot and another 8% a year in depreciated value of the vehicle. Keeping in mind that my forty year old trucks really stopped depreciating about 20 years ago and actually hold their value or rise with improvements and repairs over time.

It has become so lopsided that there is a cottage industry in restoring these old trucks into retro vehicles promoting all kinds of businesses using vintage lettering and worn patina finishes to attract attention. But under the skin these rolling billboards have power windows, A/C, power steering and fuel injected engines pumping out serious horsepower. Not to mention the head snapping stares from ‘blingmobile’ drivers in the other lane.

Nothing really says cool like a guy in a $60,000 dollar quad-cab diesel, all jacked up, with monster tires, watching your tail lights disappear into the horizon, just after the light changes. Now that’s a feeling no doctor can prescribe at any price. Dumbplumber

Dear Mrs. Palin,

I have admired you since September of 2008.

I supported your campaign with donations.

I believe you were the right candidate for this Country.

I supported your PAC when you were thinking of running for president.

I was devastated when you decided not to run, even though I knew it would be a meat grinder for you and your family.

I suspect, to this day, that you are the ONLY person that could accomplish what is necessary to save this Country.

I read your recent article in the Wall Street Journal, which confirms all my suspicions.

However, if you’re not a candidate, you’re just whistling in the dark.

Either you run as a third party Conservative candidate, with all the Tea Party and Conservative members of Congress backing you, which would ignite middle America and the Conservative base, or go back to Wasilla, shut up, and watch the meltdown. Because you know, I know and America knows that there is no candidate running today that would do what you would have done.

And absent that candidate, this is the end of America as I have known it for 62 years.

Saving America

Now I know what you're going to say. Third party campaigns are the kiss of death for both the Third Party and the Party they left. But before I make my point, it would be hard to argue that continuing on with what we have now is lunacy 'cubed', unsustainable and doomed to failure itself.

So, having said this, here's my idea. Sarah Palin/Allen West under the Conservative Party. But before they go there, they get Paul Ryan, Eric Cantor, all the Tea Party Congressmen and Senators along with Rick Santorum (if he can contain his ego), Herman Cain, Michele Bachman and the likes of Mitt Romney, Rick Perry, and the rest of the second and third tier to go along with "Saving America".

Saving America is so simple it's stupid. We're going down the tubes and no amount of politics, bi-partisanship, consensus or the Mother of All Boondoggles, COMPROMISE is going to save us. The Super Committee makes my point.

Time to tell it like it is, give America the facts, let them know that there is no way out, UNLESS we take a chainsaw to Congress, not a leaf blower.

If we do this and then lose, then at least I can say we tried. If we don't try, we don't deserve to be saved and the Mayans were right, the end comes December 2012!

Dumbplumber has been looking for a way to illustrate, to complete morons, what will happen if we don’t change our ways. ‘Economics for Idiots’ may well be that vehicle. It goes something like this:

If your outgo is bigger than your income, your future is unsustainable and you will fail.

If you are borrowing 1.4 trillion dollars every year to pay for your entitlements and costs of operation, you will fail.

If you are housing illegal aliens and giving them free healthcare, free food and free educations, you will fail.

If 30% of your prison inmates are illegal aliens, you will fail.

If you are giving your public employees 100% more in pay and benefits than their taxpaying private sector counterparts, you will fail.

If you are providing public sector pensions that exceed the salary of the President of the United States, you will fail.

If you are giving unemployable slackers benefits for not working and paying all their healthcare, you will fail.

If you pay public sector workers twice what a private sector company will accept to perform a task, you will fail.

If you ignore hundreds of billions in waste, fraud and abuse, you will fail.

If you strive to create a majority voting base dependent on your largess, you will fail.

If you think taxing the producers to pay for the takers is a good idea, you will fail.

If you insist on ignoring the Constitution of the United States, you will eventually fail.

Reality Check

You know, there are moments that one discovers complete clarity, an overwhelming revelation or inspirational epiphany. An example of these moments are when you stub your toe crossing a darkened room; when you slam your finger in the car door; or when you catch your foreskin in your pant zipper. (Well that might be more clarity than you need)

In the wee hours of the morning, I had one of those moments. Melted down to its simplest terms: WE ARE SO SCREWED.

Let’s review: Since before Franklin Roosevelt, America has been going in the hole, some years more than others, but always in the hole.

Two: Over those years, waste, fraud and abuse of power has just gotten bigger and bigger, along with the social benefits granted by every Administration and Congress. (For those of you from Rio Linda and Vallejo this means ‘money for nothing’)

The Bigfoot of Cats

On the tenth anniversary of finishing our new home also marks the arrival of a tiny kitten. Wifey and I have made a profound discovery. Many have been to our home, but other than ourselves less than five other people have ever seen our cat, our neighbor excluded. (He caught her twice in a live trap)

We don’t have a lot of visitors, but those that do come by only hear stories about the schizophrenic cat because she never reveals herself to others. And of those that have seen her, none have ever touched her or been within reach to do so. We did have one visitor about five years ago, my former grade school teacher, that actually had dinner with us and watched the cat casually stroll across the living room. We would like to use his confirmation as evidence of her existence , however, he took his testimony to the grave two years after his visit. It has become such a joke over the last ten years: Fewer people have seen our cat than have seen Bigfoot.

When we say it’s our cat, we really don’t mean it. She trained us to feed her ten years ago, never left, and has taught us to do many more things for her since. We actually thought about posting a story about the cat on our blogs with photos of the cat’s favorite resting spots, one near the dining table window, (photo) another near the office window, another on the railing sheltered by a wild plum tree and of course the one on the bed. However, these photos would be much like those of the places Bigfoot was spotted, but instead of footprints, we only have cat hair to mark as evidence.

We could also do a time lapse photo of her food bowl, slowly diminishing, but you would be confused that the water does not. That is because she prefers either the toilet bowl or her favorite larva infested stagnant pool outside in the garden bowls left for our local birds and other wildlife.

And speaking of birds, we are left with much evidence of breakfast birds, lunch birds and the occasional afternoon ‘snack’ bird parts littering our yard and deck area. No, she is not a neat cat.

However an argument can be made that it is the local foxes leaving their calling cards. But I maintain that foxes do not do their bird hunting during the daylight hours and they certainly don’t drag their feasts near our house for devouring. No, it’s the cat.It is our policy (due to the many predators here ‘bouts) that we leave the cat indoors when we leave overnight. We joke that she is stationed as a ‘guard cat’, and I must report that, over the past decade, nothing has gone missing with her on duty.
About our only complaint is that we receive little in return for providing food, water, shelter and security from the cat. Her interaction with us is minimal at best. She sleeps on the wife’s side of the bed, she allows very little petting (preferring to present her tail for stroking), passes infrequently over the sofa for the cursory touch, only lounges outside on the deck when we are there, as guards, and spends the entire day lurking outside, scouting hidey holes and available critters.

She will not come when called and prefers showing up for her four o’clock treat, somewhere between 3 and 5, depending on the time of year and accuracy of her fur covered kitty clock. Timing has never been her strong suit. But she is given credit for never having clawed, chewed or shredded the furniture. That, she saves for her personal pedestal (photo) which has been fashioned into an omage to Edgar Winter.

Overall I should not complain. Having never been a cat-person, I do appreciate her low maintenance, but live in wonder at how many 50lb bags of cat food has been consumed by our 4lb cat over the years. About the only thing she demands of me (since I refuse to acknowledge that she is my cat) is to open the back door, then close it, then open it, then close it, then open it, then…well, you get the idea.

And on this tenth anniversary of her arrival, I would be less than honest if I didn’t confess that on more than one occasion I have dreamt of the day when we would be cat-free. No cleaning the litter box, no vacuuming the cat hair, no lugging 40 lb. bags of Cat Chow out of Costco, no listening to the wifey’s daily, screeching/calling of the cat, which no doubt is enjoyed by neighbors on both sides. But on the bright side, her going missing, or worse, could be assuaged by popping the cork on a new bottle of 25 year old Single Malt and hailing a toast to one of the least troublesome intrusions ever into our lives.

How many Muslims are buried at Gettysburg? How many Muslims are buried at Arlington?

These cemeteries are occupied by hundreds of thousand, if not millions, of military personnel. And that’s just within our borders. And we should never forget the hundreds of thousands of Americans buried in foreign lands, lands that they gave their lives to protect from the likes of Hitler, Mussolini, Hirohito and Kaiser Wilhelm II. And I would suggest that there aren’t enough Muslim bodies buried among them, that if resurrected, could run a Seven Eleven franchise.

Moreover, contrary to the popular notion, among Liberals, that the Civil War was fought over slavery (which it wasn’t, slavery was an ancillary issue) slavery would not have existed were it not for Muslims. Yes my unwashed, uninformed, mentally challenged critics, it was Muslims that rounded up the natives and paraded them to the shores of Africa to be “cord-wooded” onto slave ships and sent to America and other shores for sale.

Indeed, Muslims were routinely gathering and selling slaves as far back as 700 A.D, if not earlier, to fulfill the demand for labor to oppressive regimes in Asia, Europe and the Mediterranean.

So to imply that America is a Muslim nation reveals a serious level of historical ignorance, as well as a twisted attempt to rewrite America‘s past. On a good day, at best, we could credit Muslims for supplying the labor to make tobacco and cotton our biggest export of the 19th century. But hey, I could be wrong.

It apparently is a universal belief that when all Hell breaks loose (which no one disputes will be not “if” but “when“) anarchy will be the rule and not the exception. Let’s see if I get this straight. One of Obama’s ‘bundlers’ and major contributors is up to his ‘hamhockers’ in the Solyndra Energy startup.

He and his other co-harts visit the White House about 20 times in under 2 months and come away with a loan guarantee of half a billion bucks, which takes second place to investments by venture capitalists, even though the WH budget office did not like the investment, which had already been denied by the Bush administration.

Then in a little over a year, Solyndra has waded through all but a few million of the loan, files bankruptcy and will surrender the rest and maybe more to pay bankruptcy attorneys.

The initial investors walk away mostly whole (and maybe more) to take the Fifth Amendment before Congress and breath easier knowing that Congress may discover criminal wrongdoing, but it will be up to the Eric Holder/Obama justice dept. to pursue criminal prosecution, like they did with the Black Panthers.

You were also vice-president when ‘43’ waffled on the notion that people who couldn’t qualify for a line of credit at Sears could miraculously buy a $300, 000 dollar home.

Nevermind that Saddam had threatened his dad, Bush Jr. kept the Iraq war going long after the new government stretched Saddam’s neck. And it continues to this day. In fact, there is no piece of real estate that we have invaded in the last 50 years that we don’t maintain a presence.

And while you, sir Richard, were writing your book, thousands of Americans have died in places that we didn’t belong long after we claimed our job was done there. So while you were condemning Sarah Palin for leaving her post, you had long ago abdicated your responsibility for occupying lands abandoned by the U.S. in the name of freedom, lands that to this day are threatened by America’s enemies.

This is a response to recent newspaper accounts critical of the new Community Services District Board and Management, who are acting in the best interest of the Community:

Seems that every family has a crazy uncle, however, ours happens to own a newspaper. And ever since the publisher of the Mt Echo took it upon himself to pick and choose his own facts instead of asking for clarity from those he has targeted to malign, one must wonder if his tinfoil hat is experiencing some interference.

Sensationalizing a headline is one thing. But willful ignorance and fabrication in a story is quite another. I have attended several Community Service District (CSD) meetings and my one observation is that he asks far more questions in his articles and editorials than he does at the meetings. In fact, at the last required ‘public input meeting’ for the Municipal Service Review (MSR) the Echo publisher asked NO questions at all. Perhaps honest, direct answers stifles his creative juices.

And while he asks no questions, he does spend considerable effort phoning government officials, sticking his nose into their fiefdoms, requesting comments on documents generated for the benefit of the CSD and the citizens of this valley. Nevermind that the controversial document (the MSR) was intentionally developed to go far beyond the scope of the ‘offended’ agencies, due to its many other purposes, as detailed by Valarie Lakey the week before. I make no apologies for fees paid to a private consultant, when they are less than government lackeys with an agenda.

The MSR wasn’t added into law until 2000 under Govt. code 56000 and is, in part, “designed to capture and analyze information about governance, structures and efficiencies of service providers and identify opportunities for greater co-ordination and cooperation between providers”, (Contra Costa LAFCO). YES, EIGHT YEARS ‘BEFORE’ OUR RESCUE BEGAN.

So, for those little bitty minds at the Echo and Shasta LAFCO, the Fall River CSD in general and John Van den Berg in particular was acting, not just within their jurisdiction, but under the laws governing Special Districts when they reached out to other districts for ‘co-ordination and co-operation‘, as untimely as it may seem.

Therefore, I apologize for the Mt. Echo NOT discovering the incompetence, fraud, embezzlement and irresponsibility of previous CSD administrations sooner. Terry Briggs

America is NOT in the tank because our political leaders care, but because they don’t care… for the taxpayers, they don’t care… about the future and they most certainly haven’t learned anything about history.

No, I’m here because I must be here. I must be here to give all of you some idea of what it would be like to once again live in a country where everyone could be optimistic about their futures, where everyone could depend on their leaders to look out for their rights, welfare and security. Folks, we are well beyond the time to consider the needs of lobbyists, special interest groups and gratuitous environmentalists and begin to consider the best interests of the taxpayers that make our government engine work.

With wild abandon, we have sped our way to the edge of the abyss, but it’s time to slam on the brakes and claw our way back to something that resembles reality and let American ingenuity, productivity and creativity work its time tested results. Time to resurrect America from the dustbin of failure and let it rise from the ashes of a fire that was ignited by those with more ambition than consideration for the citizens.

It is a matter of record that while ecological activists, union bosses, the barons of the bureaucratic process and corporate lobbyists were stampeding Washington for their pieces of the economic pie, America was being elevated from the world’s largest economy to a balance sheet more resembling a European socialist nation.

It doesn’t take a Wharton economist to know what was taking place. We were spending and spending and taxing and spending until, we were bowing and scraping to our enemies, begging them to lend us money.

And how did the voters react? First, they voted for a change of course in 2010. It was a landslide statement to Washington that business as usual had to stop. But did Congress hear you? No, I didn’t think they did. They did however slow the runaway race to the edge.

So, not heeding the ring of the recession bell, what did Washington D.C. do? Well, it kept doing what it has always done, tax, fine, fee and penalize its citizens to raise more money while simultaneously spending itself into the toilet. They learned nothing from their predicament and their voting records prove it.

The question is whether you folks have figured it out. This election isn’t about me, it’s about you. It’s about your future here in America.

What this election means to you is a chance to start climbing out of this hole and doing it with the support of those elected to represent you, not the collective leeches of society, who have sucked all the air out of the room and all the money out of the treasury. It is far beyond the time to recognize what makes this Country work.

It is time to take our Nation back, scuttle what has been sinking us while adopting what has historically made us great. We aren’t sunk yet, but the waves are lapping over the gunnels. The paying passengers are leaving in droves and the vultures are circling to gorge on the morsels who refuse to leave. Make no mistake folks, there are vultures who fully intend to engorge themselves with the assets left behind, by those seeking self preservation rather than enrichment, assets that will be sold to the highest bidder, no matter how low it is.

I am fully prepared to start bailing the water from the ship. I am willing to do whatever it takes to set America right, no matter whose feelings get hurt. Time to let new leaders do the work that hasn’t been done for decades.

It hardly does justice to observe that Liberals share much, if not most, of their DNA with raving Loons. Evidenced by Jimmy Carter‘s tenure. After losing his second run at the presidency, it could not be ignored that millions still voted for him, and they were allowed to breed afterwards, even though to vote for him you had to be inbred already.

What else can account for the mental acuity that believes you can borrow yourself to prosperity, spend yourself out of debt and drink yourself into sobriety.

For example: If there is NO risk of borrowing and raising the Debt Ceiling why doesn’t the government just borrow 50 or 60 trillion bucks, then cut million dollar checks to every American? Talk about a party. And pay it back? Hell no. We’re not paying it back now!

Another example: If unions are such a great deal (understand, corrupt union pensions are already trillions under funded) then why isn’t every American unionized. Yes, paper boys and window washers with negotiated wages, full health and pension benefits. What could go wrong?

No, for Liberals, Progressives and other assorted Socialists and Marxists the trick is a careful balancing act of buying enough votes to win elections, (who either already are entitlement junkies or are members of unions easily directed by their thug representatives) but not buying any more than you need to win. All of which is evidenced by the last few trillion being thrown at public and private sector unions to fully fund their jobs, health plans and pensions.

Problem is, non-unionized Americans are onto the scam. While they represent over 80% of America’s taxpayers, they realize 0% of the stimulus/investment/infrastructure spending spree, but only represent about 48% of active voters.

Which brings me to the Libtard notion that government creates jobs. Except for street vendors, perpetual yard sales and E-Bay mavens, we are already working for the government. Try not paying your taxes and see how much you have left when Uncle Sam is done with you.

I am about fed up with the Legal Analysts, Constitutional experts and Harvard Appelate specialists telling me, in righteous indignation, that “the system worked” with Casey Anthony. And adding insult to injury, they go on to state that the courtroom is not a place for justice, it is a place where the State makes its case. Horse Feathers. If it had worked, she would have woven her blankets into a rope.

No, Ms Anthony is as guilty as sin. She knows it, her parents know it, her attorneys know it and I know it. And for some reason 12 jurors witnessing the behavior, actions and evidence generated by this low life skank, somehow missed the logic, reason and common sense, that is as obvious as the aluminum foil hat on Harry Reid‘s head.

Many years ago, while on a visit to my Grandmother’s house in Oregon, I was accused of plundering the cookie jar. Now to be clear, this jar set next to the back door, which means it was already an attractive nuisance. I mean, putting a cookie jar RIGHT next to the door is just a bit too much for a 9 year old. Well long story short, this entire episode didn’t go well for moi.

Grandma pointed out that earlier there were several brownies in the jar. And since her and I were alone at the house all day and Grandma hadn’t eaten any, she felt it was a pretty good guess that I was the culprit, crumbs on my shirt notwithstanding.

So, Glenn Beck gets assaulted in a park in New York City, so what? People get assaulted in New York every hour and we don’t see it on the front page.

For the past 3 years, Beck has been the History-Teacher-in-Chief on Fox News. He has illustrated in painful detail the inner workings of Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Che and Soros. So it is with some surprise that he is surprised that he got his day spoiled by some street thugs.

Doesn’t he know that Soros hires people to watch, follow and basically screw with him? I mean, George knows what Glenn had for breakfast and what he didn’t get between the sheets last night. He hires people to screen his scat for any signs of bleeding hemorrhoids or Tapioca pudding. For Christ’s sake, Beck is rich and influential, but Soros is uber-rich and spills more than Beck makes. I mean, Glenn doesn’t make enough to cover Media Matter’s Christmas (oops, I mean Winter Festival) bonuses.

Beck is supposed to be a really smart guy, he knows all the Amendments to our Constitution, he can name every vice President since Washington, he can cite the preamble backwards in three languages. Hell, he’s so smart he decided to take himself off Fox News and go to an Internet format program with about 2500 viewers. (Well okay, maybe that’s not so smart). So why did he not cogitate that Soro’s many political army soldiers would be laying in wait for just such a moment.

Glenn, buy a vowel, get a clue. You are a walking, talking enemy of forces well beyond your defenses. Time to step back or step up to a position where either you become completely obscure or actually hire some bodyguards like a lot of people well below your means do every day to protect their safety.

I mean, it’s not like you are wandering around some city park in Bohunk, Iowa. It’s New York City, dummy. The cesspool of Liberals, not smart enough to live anywhere else.

No Threat of Palin

Having sworn not to write any further rants involving Obama, I was considering to do the same about Sarah Palin. I mean what ‘new’ comments can one say about someone that has been scrutinized with a microscope, slammed from both sides of the political isle, and mischaracterized, not just by the Left, but by virtually every elitist RINO, MSM commentator, political pundit and hack comedian in the country.

But through the fog of controversy, Dumbplumber may have stumbled upon one aspect of Mrs. Palin that no one has bothered to cover. That being, who does Sarah Palin NOT threaten? Now for those of you who consider themselves speed mis-readers, I offer you that last sentence again. Who does Sarah Palin NOT threaten?

Of course she threatens the Left, because she believes in the Constitution, personal responsibility and smaller government. She threatens elitist Republicans, because she has a history of rooting out greed, corruption and waste, no matter what side of the isle it is from. And she threatens the slackers, scammers, professional deadbeats and anyone wrongly ‘milking’ the system for personal gain. But let’s look at who she doesn’t threaten.

Like anyone else, I started looking at home. Does she threaten me? Not hardly. I work hard, pay my taxes, don’t suck off the government teat, don’t ask for much of anything but a level playing field and enjoy the fruits of my labor. So next I looked down the street at my neighbors. Does she threaten any of them? Not hardly, from an elderly neighbor on my left, who is enjoying his retirement, that he invested into for over 5 decades, to the one on my right who is a Highway Dept. employee, who is an essential element in our rural transportation system. Then it was time to look farther afield.

About 300 yards to the east is our Community Hospital. About the only changes she threatens them with is a cutting of the senseless bureaucracy that haunts hospitals all across America. Under her leadership, we could probably expect more money spent on patient care and a whole lot less on lawyers, which have helped make our medical system the most expensive on the planet. More resources devoted to equipment, medicine and services and a lot less on unfathomable, unreadable reports, surveys and duplicitous documents.
To the west, we have our commercial district. I seriously doubt that cutting taxes, removing barriers to success and streamlining the permitting, inspection and planning processes would be a threat to any of these businesses. Not to mention putting a screaming halt to endless, mindless and indefensible environmental obstacles, meant more to halt commerce than preserve the environment. Nope, no threat there.

I can’t even imagine our local Liberal, Obama loving, tree huggers being threatened. Beyond the fact that their feelings get hurt when they discover that Chris Matthews, Rachael Maddow and the entire MSM had been lying, distorting and fabricating criticisms about Palin ever since she took the stage in Ohio as McCain’s running mate. You see, most of America thinks Palin said, “I can see Russia from my porch”, when it was actually Tina Fey that coined that often repeated, but never disputed, stupid comment.

In fact, with a profound lack of bureaucrats, investment bankers, activist lawyers and environmental whackos among our ranks, our little community will most likely fare pretty well under President Palin, that is except for a few entitlement and welfare junkies whose only skill seems to be collecting their checks on the 1st and the 15th ,adding to their beer can castles and making pot holders out of their empty cigarette packages.

Of course, we have a few lost souls that need our support, but every community does. But it cannot be argued that the further away from Washington, D.C., the State Capitals and urban centers you get, the fewer ‘dependent’ citizens you find. And we are further than most from the cesspools of social engineering.

No folks, it isn’t about who will suffer under Palin. It is about the vast majority who will live, prosper and thrive under her leadership. A story that has sadly been lost under the barrage of criticism fabricated, amplified then broadcast across America, as the gospel according to Leftists, Liberals and the ‘Scared Shitless of Sarah’ would have us believe.

I’m told it’s un-Constitutional to withhold legislative pay to lawmakers who fail to produce a balanced budget. However, it IS Constitutional for those same lawmakers, against our objections, to encumber, indebt and otherwise shackle, not just taxpayers, but generations of descendants with obligations they will NEVER be able to pay off.

Under the “It’s Good for the Goose Dept.” : We are told daily that Public Employee and Union benefit packages must be honored because they were ‘negotiated contracts’, nevermind that these benefits are unsustainable, constantly renewed, negotiated under threat of strike and paid for by ‘all’ taxpayers, not just the 12% that receives them. I say, “Hot Damn Goober”.

Dumbplumber believes that if this is such a great deal for America, in the future every benefit negotiated by union thugs for their membership should be extended to EVERY worker in America. That should speed up the inevitable end game that we are seeking to reach now…. at light speed.

Liberals would have us believe that we are all in this together. So to prove that they are NOT dividing America, that everyone is equal, and that they care about the ‘little’ people, they should be jumping all over this concept. Can we all say G-R-E-E-C-E together.

Hee, hee, hee. So Paul Ryan’s proposal was voted down in the Senate. Seems that looking into it, Republicans and Democrats alike saw the end of their careers staring them back in their face. Nevermind that it is a more reasonable plan than either the one we have or the nothing put forth by the Democrats.

But the sweet irony is that if Congress had looked into Obamacare half as much as Ryancare, O‘care wouldn‘t have seen the light of day, nor have been handed $105 billion in seed money. No, you can’t make this up.

A friend reminded me today that our Founding Fathers risked everything. They risked their property, their wealth, their families and yes their lives to draft, circulate and promote and pass what is today the greatest governing document ever created, our Constitution.

But today, with all we have accomplished, all we have created, all we have done for our country, our fellow man and those from other countries, today’s politicians won’t risk a vote to defend it.

Today I disagree with the award winning Dr. Charles Krauthammer. He claims that America is a nation of laws. Yes, in a way that is true. However, I would submit that we are a nation with a lot of laws AND SOME OF THEM THEY ENFORCE, depending on who you are and just how high up the Totem Pole you perch.

Under the ‘You’ve Got to be Shitting me Column’, The People’s Republic of California’s Assembly bill 887 is working its way through the Sacramento morass of twisted sisters and is about to be the first State that will protect workers that wish to cross-dress during working hours. This is to let you know that I will no longer open, read or be otherwise dazzled by a new email revelations about our White House occupant. I have been witnessing shocking accounts about this man since well before his inauguration. Then, as the political junkie I am, have witness the drip, drip, drip of actions, appointments, authorizations, declarations, directives, decrees, dictates, commands and mandates that have, each and every one, gone to divide, diminish, devalue and otherwise destroy this country.

I have determined that those who have the easiest access to solutions to correct our spiral into the abyss, have neither the will nor the courage to act on the opportunities, but rather choose to sit by and watch Liberals, the MSM and cocktail circuit RINOs grind into dust anyone with the courage to do so politically. Yes, that means that NO viable Conservative will ever sleep in the White House, short of a revolution.

Yes folks, there exists plenty of selfish, greedy and provably stupid people that will line up and vote for whichever guy is giving away the most ice cream, even though we will be borrowing money from China to buy it. You see, government employees, the habitually unemployed, entitlement junkies, most union members and professional scammers all know that the Liberals and RINOs are their ticket to the lush life, nevermind that this system is unsustainable on any level.

Dumbplumber often reads of the gnashing, screeching and caterwauling by folks critical of the overcrowding in our prison systems, California notwithstanding. The cost, the waste, the corruption, the overwhelming size of the problem is almost incalculable. But it is not without solution.

First, we currently treat prisoners, wanna-be prisoners and prisoners-in-training in a bottoms up fashion. Stated another way, adjusted statistically, we have a lot more street thugs in the jug than we do Harvard graduates. And some, like myself, think that that just might be part of the problem.

You see, many offenders, no, most offenders, no, all offenders suffer from one symptom: respect for other’s rights. Now this may be manifested in many ways. But one way seems to be prevailing: Lack of fear of the consequences of what they are doing, which is really just shorthand for, “hey ‘they’ got away with it”.

Yeah, yeah, I know. Love, Hate and Greed rank right up there for motive, but lack of fear of the consequences is the bottom line for everyone. About the only folks that violate this formula are the serial killers, sociopaths and narcissistic political leaders. But in the big picture, we could park those inmates in one county jail and have room left over for the drunk tank.

Case in point, how many hours go by in the 24/7 news cycle that we don’t hear about some bureaucrat, mid-level flunky or city manager that has gamed the system out of hundreds of thousands of dollars through graft, corruption or union contract, that loses their job, but cannot be denied a million dollar golden parachute, because of “contractual” obligations?

Yes folks, everyday somewhere this picture plays out to the dismay of millions, disgusted with the inability or lack of will to thwart it. Ergo, you build disrespect and universal animus. I submit that if you begin whacking those at the top, just as hard as those at the bottom, you will build a pyramid of respect that will trickle down to the lowest of street thugs.

Stated another way: If you show those at the bottom, that those at the top will not get away with crime, they will begin to respect the system a lot more than they do now.

I often wonder why Liberals have such a disconnect to logic. For instance, if Sarah Palin is such a knuckle dragging moron, incapable of putting together a cognitive thought, or say, chewing gum and walking at the same time, why do they disparage her so much? Logically, the Libs should WANT to run against such an unqualified, moose killing goober from Wasilla.

On the other hand, they seem to want to run against the likes of the muskrat wearing Donald Trump, the Ken Doll/Obamacare Lite, Mitt Romney or the Gravy Dripping Mike Huckabee, none of whom could muster more than 40% of the general election vote. Go figure.

And it can’t go without notice that much of the things we hate Obama for was started by George Bush: Auto Bailout, Bank bailouts, Prescription Benefit Plan, etc. However the reality is that Bush just got tired of the Pelosi/Reid Congress pounding him into dust the last two years of his presidency and succumbed to the “across the isle“, “bipartisan” angle that has brought us at least another $8 trillion farther in debt.

Long story short, if you like where we are now with the whole bipartisan thing, you’re gonna love another 4 years of Obama. I’d say a police state, government operated everything and another $10 trillion of debt should just about do it. Or stated another way, well beyond the point of NO return. And the added bonus of Obama pressing for a 10 year term for president. Of course that takes further mangling of our Constitution, but with 60 or 70 percent of our future voters being dependant on government, it should be a piece of cake.

So now we don’t have ‘just’ democrats slamming Sarah Palin, but seems that Republicans are now jumping on the bandwagon. It is amusing to witness the RINOS quibbling about what is wrong with Sarah. How did she get so low in the poles and what is it about her that scares the living bejesus out of Liberals and moderate Republicans alike? Well, just look at the negative stories generated about her….. every day.

There are entire websites dedicated to destroying Sarah Palin, one drip at a time. There are authors that do nothing but write books, provably inaccurate, that do nothing but slam Palin. And you cannot go more than a day or two that the MSM doesn’t do a story critical of one thing or another she has done, said, or intends to do.

But keep this in mind, no matter what they do or say, Sarah Palin’s approval ratings continue to be twice as high as the U.S. Congress and at least even, or above, with the entire crop of GOP hopefuls. Let’s see them face the onslaught that Sarah has endured and maintain half her ratings.

While tens of thousands will spend years filling out forms for relief, ‘Pigford’ farmers will simply claim their “Farmville” keyboards as crops and reap millions in ‘virtual’ losses on what they meant to harvest next year.

The Energy Dept. has announced that gasoline prices will remain high through 2012. Well now, that certainly is an interesting statement. Since the market determines the cost of energy, how is it that the Energy Dept. can ‘assure’ us of high prices unless they have their “fingers on the scale” guaranteeing that will happen. This assurance only works if the government ‘controls’ energy, which apparently their prediction reveals.

After John Boehner announced loudly that any Debt Ceiling increase would have to be connected to equal or larger cuts in the budget, it is being announced that these “budget cuts” would be spread over 5 or 10 years. Well now, ain’t that special. It is starting to sound a lot like Wimpy, who famously quotes, “I would gladly pay you on Tuesday for a hamburger today”. Nevermind there will be plenty of opportunity to rescind the cuts during Obama’s second term. We are so screwed.

It occurs to me that, while many of you want to get down in the weeds over policy and taxing proposals, most of you never step back and look at the big picture. Here are a few questions that most of you should consider before you embarass yourselves taking a stand on how we should be governed, or what it should cost those of us paying for it.

A. Can 300 million people be GOVERNED on $250 billion a month? Yes or No will do.

B. Can we protect America with less than the 759 military bases scattered around the globe?

C. Should taxpayers be forced to subsidize people who WILL NOT (I didn't say CANNOT) work?

D. Does the government owe anything to an "illegal" alien beyond a trip back home? Do they owe them more than American citizens?

E. Is it fair for our government to treat union workers differently than non union?

F. Should our government enforce any law differently than any other law? Or should laws that are not being enforced be deleted?

G. And finally, is anyone else offended when some politician, in righteous indignation, brazenly waves a copy of our Constitution while whining about some perceived slight, meanwhile willfully violating that docmuent every day?

Now that we are to expected to accept the clearly fraudulent, altered, and otherwise counterfeited Obama birth certificate, I guess the lid is off on altering $1 dollar bills to be $100 dollar bills. Works for me. Hey, that double standard thing was always one of my pet peeves.

Now tell me again why we should trade-in our low mileage pickups and trucks? Here is the Douche-bag-in-Chief sarcastically advising those of us trapped into our low mileage, high cost per mile trucks, may be fodder for POTUS. But his smug, smirky, condescension for those of us that enjoy NO monthly payments and low insurance and license fees is palpably offensive.

Not only do I enjoy lower, cost-per-mile expenses, but I can buy any parts I need from any of a number of catalogues and I additionally realize less costs to run 4 old trucks, than to run one new one. And I have the added bonus to NOT having my cab lifted off the frame for a tune-up. (Yes, you need to take a look at this little piece of engineering advancement)

Moving On Obama recently visited the sites of several tornadoes. He scanned the devastation and commented that, “I’ve never seen anything like this”. (However what he thinking was, “When I’m done, all of America will look like this”.)

So now that “The Donald” has slapped Obama between the eyes with his flakey birth certificate, the Lefties are all on deck to reduce the Trumpster to ashes. Now comes the backlash for not towing the official line.

However, when it comes to Trump, I am reminded of the old tv show, The Untouchables, where the Feds have this big truck with a “V” shaped battering ram attached to the front. So that once the truck busts down the warehouse doors, where mobsters store or make alcohol, then the agents storm the building to smash the kegs and bottles. The Donald is this truck, but where are the agents.

This is pretty much what’s going on in America right now. And it’s going on with support and aid of the Main Stream Media. We are witnessing conflicts of positions and journalistic hypocrisy that are mind numbing, but little is said about it in the media. Let me submit:

Americans universally condemn government intrusion into our lives, but we keep electing politicians that grow and nurture big government.

Both parties now deny that government money is going for abortions, but there was well over a million government paid abortions last year.

Bush 43 was hounded from the heavens for every scrap of paper that dealt with his past…back to his childhood. Yet our current “transparency” president, has yet to submit any of his college records, or thesis, his passport or a duplicate of his original birth certificate. Yeah, yeah, I know, it’s an “abstract”. Look it up, while you’re wiping the Kool Aid off your chin.

Our administration condemns $5 billion in profits to a company that has tens of billions in assets around the world, but doesn’t think it’s unreasonable to shove $20 billion into ethanol production, converting food into fuel, which requires more energy to make than it produces.

The White House bemoans the plight of “middle America”, then spoon feeds hundreds of billions at trade and government unions (to backfill their pension plans), which only represent about 12% of workers in America.

Our Administration claims it is protecting our borders, but will not require a drug test to determine if a recipient of taxpayer dollars is a drug user. It would kill two birds with one stone. Illegal immigration and drug use.

Der Leader is cramming conservation down our throats with the EPA and Energy Dept., but ignores both when he flies Air Force One to Chicago for pizza or pisses away $100,000 per hour using it as a fundraising tool in S.F. and Los Angeles. Need I go on? The man is a fraud people!

Of course that ‘noise’ is now accompanied by the added threat of Teheran’s forthcoming nuclear bomb which, by all accounts, is being developed on Prophesy’s own schedule. And on top of that is the President of Iran, a certified Nut Case, so deluded with power that he actually looks forward to parking mushroom clouds over Tel Aviv.

I say, hot damn ‘Dinner-and-a-Job’, time for the Hootenanny. Thing is though, you may have not taken so much as a glimpse at the ‘Way Back Machine‘, which would tell you that every time one of you Camel Jockey Cowboys got a wild hair stuck in your diapers, you got your proverbial butts kicked. Offensively your pre-announcing your intentions has never worked so good, as you mutton-munching goobers have come out on the short end every time.

Additionally your weakness for sticking your butt in the air 5 times a day isn’t what I would call a great defensive tactic either. It just gives the Jews something to aim at.

Now I don’t want to go out on a limb here, but you cave dwelling dummies aren’t exactly Einsteins either. I can’t remember the last Nobel Prize given to any of you. Add to that a Pulitzer, an Emmy, Academy Award, a Patent, a Medal of Honor or any award for Excellence, Merit, or Achievement. I thought I could really get into the “birther” movement. I mean it would be so easy, the intrigue, the conspiracy, the overt effort to ignore the obvious. Here’s another dose: Nothing quite like a roomful of seniors whacking away at a Tea Party politician for supporting Ryan’s deficit plan that cuts Medicare spending. Nevermind that Medicare’s budget of $510 billion dollars is infested with over $100 billion in fraud, waste and corruption. Apparently they don’t want to cut that either.

It’s all about the numbers: We are reminded daily that Sarah Palin’s approval ratings are dropping. But with Congressional approval and Obama’s “very much approval” both hovering at 19%, it makes Charlie Sheen’s approval at 29% a bonanza. So Sarah’s overall approval at 39% already rivals the President. And what is more revealing is that with Donald Trump’s recent rant on Obama’s birth certificate, his approval is higher than any of the those listed above.

Still Bashing Palin: In Liberal publishing there are two things you can always count on: First, Liberal reporters will always change their position to accommodate whatever a Progressive says. And Second: When they have exhausted high praise for every Democrat they can think of, they drag out a Republican for further evisceration. However, when it’s Sarah Palin, it’s more like a 2 month old road kill than anything resembling fresh meat. But not to worry, tomorrow is another chance-to-bash-Palin day.

So, while you get all giddy with Obama’s caring about the ‘little’ people, you might want to keep this in mind. Obama just appeared in Chicago at one of his many upcoming 2012 campaign fundraisers, which charged the diners $35,000 per plate. Now that is some dinner. Don’t you just wonder for a moment, how many ‘little’ people were out there gobbling down the rubber chicken?

Why don’t we try this on for a second and see how it fits. Obama has spent the past 2 ½ years shoveling out trillions of dollars to the service unions, the automobile unions, the construction unions and state employee unions. (Is there a pattern emerging here?) Now on a whim, you will pardon me if I speculate that the Community-Organizer-in-Chief is just going around picking up his vig. And this for all you folks that thought he was going to raise a billion dollars from secretaries, shoe shine boys and waitresses. (Oops, that was Hillary wasn’t it?)

Better he should have just one picnic with the heads of all the unions and charge them $100 million for the bag. Then they could drop all pretense of campaign funding legality and at least get a decent hot dog.

Something else to ponder: If Obama, Geithner, Harry Reid and all the rest of the, “you can’t cut anything” school continue scaring the be-Jesus out of old people, the poor and the infirmed, maybe someone should ask them if we could just cut the waste, the fraud and the corruption. How about that? Or would that cut too far into their campaign coffers?

No folks, we have a president, on track, to have borrowed more money in his first term of office than all the previous presidents put together. And for all his borrowing, spending and re-distributing, we haven’t weaned anyone off welfare, entitlements or the government gravy train.

And this man wants us to donate to his re-election. You just can’t put this anywhere on the Stupid Meter.

Hell in a Hand Basket

There are many that believe that America is going to Hell and they are preparing accordingly, buying Gold and Silver, then putting them in a vault, where they gather moss and, for now, value. But Dumbplumber thinks this is just stupid. If I’m going to hoard something, it better be edible.

Oh, we’re going to Hell alright. But as heard about a year ago on one of the blogs, “when all Hell breaks loose, Plumbers will be Kings”. Now that may be sort of a stretch, but if plumbers are Kings, hunters will be Emperors, if not Gods. No my friends, things won’t look quite the same when the sky falls.

Gold may be the big dog now, but look for it to be on the shelves in Dollar Stores in the future. The reason: Because guns and ammo will be stored in Fort Knox. In fact, it won’t surprise me if banks empty their vaults of cash and fill them up with toilet paper, catsup and Band Aids.

Oh, there will still be millionaires. In fact I will have a couple of them weeding my garden and washing my trucks for in trade for my plumbing services. In fact, I suspect there will be a lot of folks out there, that hoarded gold, performing tasks totally unrelated to their chosen fields.

For instance, lawyers will be hosing down slaughter houses for dinner, CPAs will be washing dishes for a chance to stand in line for a cup of soup .
And it will be a hoot watching Politicians stuffing firewood into homemade boilers and weeding vegetable rows in community greenhouses.

Of course the big box stores in the cities will have to retool. Out will be carpets, appliances and fancy plumbing fixtures. In will be axes, hammers and hand saws. Any spare room will store nuts, berries and the mother of all banquet favorites, cases of Top Ramen soup and bags of red beans and rice.

But the number one commodity will be guns and ammo and anything that can be converted to guns and ammo. Yessir, I can’t wait to see the ‘Hope and Change’ Messiah scrounging in the landfills for Beer Nuts, discarded sodas and the occasional Marlboro butts. Those will go quite well with his Humble Pie and a double helping Crow.

Look who’s in control It was pointed out to me today that 544 people control what goes on with government in America. Specifically, that’s 435 Congressmen, 100 Senators, 9 Supreme Court Justices and 1 President. That’s it 544. So explain to me again, why WE all need to share the pain, when it was 544 people over several administrations that got us where we are today? Go ahead, I’ll wait. Hey, I’ve got a better idea. Since I didn’t benefit from any of the wasteful, shameful, or fraudulent spending, leave me off the list of “Sharing the Pain”. If you don’t I will take myself off. Commiserating with a Liberal Earlier today I locked horns with a certified, uncompromising, lefty loon Liberal. Wow! My lower lip is still bleeding because she is one of my LOL’s (little old ladies). We started with, “I like Obama because he is so smart”. I let that one go by like a high and outside fastball. Then she started on Congressman Ryan’s idea to privatize Medicare. Whoa, I didn’t see that one coming. I told her that Medicare admits that it loses somewhere between $100 and $200 billion a year in waste, fraud and abuse. But she was still twirling when I said we should at least cut that out. No go, she was still sideways. Then I harpooned her with, “ how about we roll back both Social Security and Medicare to what they were when adopted”. Had her then. I went on to examples of the bastardizing, prostituting and expanding both programs to where no one recognizes them any more. But she agreed that going back to the original intent of covering seniors as a safety net was a good idea. Whew, I have hit pay dirt. I have agreed with a Liberal. Like my mother, she hates Sarah Palin. I asked her honestly, “What did Sarah Palin ever do to you that you would hate her so much?” I’m still waiting for the pin to drop.

Now there are those who argue that he hasn’t finished crushing America yet, and needs more time. While others believe that he hasn’t finished paying off the unions, political hacks and entire states that helped him get elected the first time. In any event it HASN’T been announced that he repaired that inadvertent flaw whereby his website failed to block illegal donations, even from foreign countries with folks that have no consonants in their names or from cities you can’t find on any map. Dumbplumber says, “Let the corruption begin”. And on a related story: Has anyone else noticed that as America’s debt has gone vertical, so has Obama’s re-election cash? Looks like spreading around taxpayer money has its own rewards. A billion dollars is what you get when you hand out a trillion to your unions, state governments and international movers and shakers. It is also the unspoken truth that while both the debt and Obama campaign cash are inextricably connected, it is the American taxpayer that will be paying for both. Like anybody ever thought that Obama‘s campaign contributions came from someone‘s hard earned income. “Let the corruption continue”. A case for going Democrat: You know, when you think about it, maybe voting Democrat may be the shortest path to our salvation. Of course, like forest fires, alcoholism or bankruptcy, you can’t start over until you hit rock bottom. Since America doesn’t appear to want to listen to common sense and continue to vote-in politicians that can’t balance a checkbook, understand the word deficit, or even agree to cut waste, fraud and abuse out of the Federal Budget, maybe the sooner we declare insolvency, the better. However, we should all understand that finger pointing, placing blame and whining will not be constructive when foraging for nuts and berries and field dressing wild game. No one will care then, and I don’t care now.

Under the ‘You Can’t Make This Up’ department: In one segment of MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Mika Brzezinski poked considerable fun at our freshmen Republican Congressmen for pushing for an additional $60 billion in spending cuts beyond the draconian $10 billion they already cut out of the ‘011 federal budget. Then, nearly in the same breath, she gave high kudos to Governor Andrew Cuomo for his cutting $10 billion out of New York State’s budget. Well, I guess one man’s (er, uh woman’s) victory is another’s albatross. The only difference appears to be the letter before the Party affiliation. Just sayin’. Under the You Knew it Would Eventually have to happen: It appears that in San Francisco, one of the uber-Liberal politicians is demanding that the City’s union workers take a pay and benefit “cut”. Yes, it appears that the snake has began to eat its tail. You see the City has realized that the excessive pay and benefit packages are taking away money they want to give to a whole host of give-away programs, like homes for crack addicts, meals for dirtballs (who spend their days panhandling) and free methadone for junkies. I’m sorry but I just got off the floor. Dennis Kucinich has just referred to Obama’s invasion of Libya as un-Constitutional. Oh my, my cheeks ache, my sides are splitting, I think I blew some grape juice out my nose.

Now that stains gonna be hard to get out.

Oh, I hear it at least 5 times a day right now. This is unconstitutional, that’s unconstitutional, everything is unconstitutional.

Guess what, good ole democrat James Clyburn said it best, “we just about make up everything we do”. Well now, that’s the most clear and honest assessment I’ve heard from anyone on the Hill…..ever.

Apparently most of the mouthpieces up there forget that much if not most of what they do is basically unconstitutional, but as long as they do it without confrontation, it’s okay. For instance, redistributing wealth is unconstitutional, but it hasn’t stopped Congress, hasn’t even slowed them down.

In fact, any number of government agencies are actively engaged in unconstitutional activities every day: Medicare, Medicaid, the Dept of Education, Dept. of Energy and HHS are all unconstitutional, because they overlap and overshadow similar Depts. within individual states. But who’s complaining? In fact every federal government agency that duplicates their mirror state agency is unconstitutional.

So the next time Anthony Weiner, James Clyburn or even John McCain says something is unconstitutional, don’t let it bother you. Because little else they do is either. It’s just their way of letting you know how little they know about the Constitution.

But you can rest assured that no amount of unconstitutional activity will be challenged until it involves unions, environmentalists or cross-dressing, bi-sexual, transvestite, cab driving, ex-convict pedophiles on crack. Then, by God, someone’s gonna hear a lot about the Constitution. And what you will be hearing will be from the ACLU, Alan Dershowitz, the NAACP or Gloria Alred. We are so screwed

Okay, now I’ve had enough. How many times do we have to hear some Media inquisitor ask a Conservative politician if he would risk “shutting down government“, to make political points. Then follows a long and wandering oration softening the implication of such an act, to the extent that even suggesting it would be a radical notion. (Wimps)

Well, Dumbplumber has an idea, ‘Shut the Sucker Down’ until some sanity comes to Congress (Ok, maybe that’s unrealistic). Shut Her Down until we agree to stop paying $600 million a day just for interest on our debt; Shut Her Down until we agree to stop borrowing 40 cents of every dollar we spend; Shut Her Down until we stop padding the health and pension benefits for 12% of the population, at the expense of the remaining 88%; Shut Her Down until we agree to stop placing administrative barriers between the nation’s businesses and success. Yes, Shut Her Down.

No one can argue that government has recognized that success of its private sector is the key to increasing taxes. However, what they fail to recognize is that by maintaining and adding to the morass of regulation already on the books is like tying a bowling ball to an Olympic swimmer, then expect them to bring home the Gold. Hell, our resident Nobel Peace Prize-Winner-in-Chief can’t even bring the Olympics to the U.S., so how do we expect him to adopt anything that smacks of ‘the ability to succeed’ in our business community?

Additionally, the Community Organizer-in-Chief thinks giving $4 billion to Brazil ($2.3 billion of which we borrowed from China) to explore for oil there, is an answer to America’s energy problem. He thinks that partnering with GE (who builds or buys solar and wind components from their operations overseas) is his key to imposing alternative energy on the U.S.. (Especially, interesting is that GE nets over $3 billion here, but doesn’t pay any income taxes here). He demands that Government Motors (GM) and Chrysler build electric cars, that only 5% of the nation wants, but now all taxpayers subsidize, then makes no plans for the grid and infrastructure to support a performance model that the cars will never meet.

He ’steamrolled’ Congress, under Pelosi and Reed, into cramming through Obamacare, in the dead of night and unread, which allows the government takeover of 6% of the nation’s economy, then enlists an army of mouthpieces to travel the nation and networks hawking the legislation that is un-Constitutional at best. He then double downs on irresponsibility by inserting his Justice Dept to delay legal challenges until implementation is well beyond the point of no return. (Which is right after his re-election, where he plans to blow the last of his ice cream, sprinkles and whipped cream with a cherry on top, “So help me, Me”.

Blocked Constitutionally from borrowing any more money, his Treasury Dept. sells bonds to the Federal Reserve to raise yet more money for which taxpayers are obligated, then encourages the Fed into selling yet more bonds to cash strapped states that cannot repay, due to pension and benefit obligations, to union employees that refuse to be denied representation.

Then facing certain bankruptcy with unsustainable debt, our Lawn Jockey-in-Chief decides to invade ‘another’ Muslim country, without consent of Congress, hurling billions in exploding assets at one of the few solvent dictators on the planet. Apparently, the last ‘solvent’ nations are drilling and selling their own oil, while simultaneously skimming U.S. foreign aid to not launch rockets at either the U.S. or Israel. (Nice work if you can get it)

And finally, facing a debt that is approaching over 100% of our annual GDP, the Spender-in-Chief realizes that America is growing weary of the charade, so it’s time for some austerity. (Yeah right, just before the 2012 campaign) Meanwhile, every dime spent from the Federal treasury will go to sustaining the government status quo and union jobs in the private sector.

So given the obvious outcome of these policies, Dumbplumber definitely supports “Shutting Her Down”. Because if we don’t, the Liberals and RHINOS will just keep on keep’n on.

America is on a collision course with a Socialist take over. It is a possibility still if we Shut Her Down. But it is a certainty if we don’t.

How crazy is our debt. We are well over $14 trillion in the hole and going in further at over $4 billion a DAY! But according to a choir of Liberals, “we can’t abandon the children, the helpless, the widows and the orphans, nor the police and firemen“. Hookay. Looks like we can’t abandon the mid-level bureaucrats, entitlement junkies, millionaire NPR executives nor cowboy poets either!

I mean the little things like, Medicare admitting that they lose between $100 and $200 billion a year in waste, fraud and mismanagement. But we can’t cut that because we want to continue the waste, fraud and mismanagement! (Don’t get tired of those exclamation marks, I’m just getting started)

If cutting $6 billion a year is like pulling hen’s teeth, just think of the squawking if we cut the entire $1.3 trillion of this year’s deficit. Nevermind that implementing Obamacare starts with a $23 billion dollar hidey hole, our esteemed Rhinos can‘t cut a dollar of that, even though several federal judges have deemed it unconstitutional. That’s right, we can’t stop ‘unconstitutional’ spending. So what are our chances of stopping bloated, underhanded, double dealing dollars going out to slackers, stooges and union goons?!!!!

And we should not forget the widows and orphans of the Agriculture Dept. We can’t possibly stop the tens, if not hundreds, of billions going out to the millionaire farmers, who are getting paid to NOT farm. Yes, you heard it here first. We are in the midst of a food crisis around the world and we are paying farmers to NOT grow food. Probably because we are paying them billions more to grow corn to turn into fuel! No, I did not make that up.

Then lest we forget more billions we give to corporations like Exxon/Mobil and Chevron. They made profits in the tens of billions, but we gave them more, so they could make more! Not to forget Katrina, the 3 disasters ago disaster, that we are in to over 60 billion and still counting.

Who would want to deny the orphans and widows of PBS? NO employee of a government subsidized entity should make more than the President of the United States. The CEO of PBS makes over $900k a year, over double of that of the President. And the Dems are kicking and scratching to keep the $250 million a year flowing into that Black Hole of liberalism.

How about the widow and orphan Public Employee Pension System? Apparently the top priority of our U.S. government is to backfill union pension plans, that haven’t been audited since before Jimmy Hoffa was born. And we all know how honest ole’ Jimmy was. The bad news for ‘Barry’ was that he could only shove about $1 trillion into the system that is still over $2.5 trillion out of round. I’d love to see that balance sheet.

But not to worry, he will have another term to catch up! Right after he promised everyone ice cream, one more time.

And we couldn’t neglect our Social Security System, adopted in the late 30’s. It was an honorable jesture to grant the elderly a safety net, after years of hard work and deductions taken from paychecks to provide a minimal monthly stipend in the declining years.

Then, in the early 70’s Liberals thought it was a good idea to extend Social Security payments under SSI benefits to anyone, orphan, widow or not, who either couldn’t or wouldn’t work because of such maladies, as ADD, Dyslexia, ADHD or an even the uncontrollable urge to drink beer instead of work. Yeah, that’s responsible spending!!! What could possibly go wrong? Nooo, we can’t deprive them either.

And to not let a Rhino go unscathed, George Bush thought it was a great idea to add a “Prescription Drug” benefit to Medicare, so now we have the privilege of insuring that guys with erectile dysfunction can screw. It’s almost like government in a jar, so we can’t deny them of that!!

No my friends, now that we have had a peek behind the Liberal Curtain, it can be safe to say that, “WE ARE SO SCREWED”. And with Viagra supplied by the taxpayers, if they screw us over four hours at a time, they get to see a doctor, also at our expense.

Who Starts the Wars?

Now this isn’t a hard question, but I suspect there are many who think they have the answer…..However, they would be wrong.

Most will say that the Pentagon start wars. Many others would say that reckless politicians start the wars (and they would be partly right, but for the wrong reasons). Yet many others would guess that despots, bloody dictators and tyrants start the wars when they massacre their own people. And again, they would be partly right---with reservations.

And to throw another wrench into the mix, many will answer that Western countries, thirsty for oil, start wars to keep the spigots flowing. But this is only one ingredient in the formula.

No my friends, none of the above start wars even though they all will play a roll in one way or another in most wars.

Dumbplumber is convinced that the Media is what starts wars, television, with the 24/7 cycles of cable news, and to a lesser extent, radio and newspapers capitalizing on the sensationalism of their video brethren.

Even going back to Vietnam the television scenes of the ruthless killing of innocent civilians haunted freedom loving Americans until political pressure sent the first ‘advisors’ in to document and assist the organized resistance in the south. And as they say, we saw how that worked out.

You give me a rogue dictator (probably receiving U.S. aid), a valuable resource (oil, mineral or vegetable), violent attacks on civilians and throw in Cable News and I will give you a war. Because no politician wants to be blamed for genocide.

Now, give me 3 days of a war and I will give you footage of the U.S. military being blamed for civilian casualties. Here’s a hint, keep reporters out of these countries and the Media won’t churn the feelings of our politicians, who won’t seek intervention and ergo, the military won’t harm civilians, because that’s what happens during war. Get over it.

News reports say that China and Russia are encouraging a cease fire in Libya, so that claims can be investigated that civilians are being killed. Now let me get this straight, Russia and China are concerned about civilians in Libya. Whew, that was a close one. I was thinking that they meant civilians in their own countries.

Col. Muammar Kaddafi has been out foxing western countries for over 40 years. From downing of a jetliner over Scotland, to his bombings of nightclubs and Embassies he has baffled administration after administration.

However, recently he has exhibited behavior far in excess of anything seen before. From his designer sunglasses, to his multiple, exotic, flowing robes, to his numerous extravagant headdresses, it appears that he would be more comfortable shopping at ’Mood’, the famous fabric store in New York, than Home Depot.

And those of us who are fans of reality television think Muammar is far less equipped to lead a war against NATO and far more prepared for the ‘final four’ on Project Runway.

Political Ignorance isn’t just in D.C.. Recently, I had the displeasure of attending a Board of Supervisors meeting in Redding. Sticking around for round 2 on the agenda, I had the opportunity of witnessing some serious butt-kissing by the county Economic Development director, who spent 8 minutes blowing ice cream and sprinkles up my boxers, justifying whatever pay check he receives. I haven’t heard so much “rollout”, “next month” and “in the future” since I stopped looking for the pot-of-gold at the end of the Shamwow rainbow.

But the real eye-opener came at the end of the presentation when my District’s Supervisor, Glenn Hawes, exclaimed the “all this (economic) hysteria is in ‘their’ heads”. He would be far better informed about California’s economic state if he started getting his news from something other than the paid hacks spouting sparkles and unicorns to justify their salaries. For Christ’s sake Glenn, even MSNBC acknowledges that California’s finances are in the dumper.

The Demented Robin of Spring

Don’t we all have our favorite memories of the arrival of Spring? The first shoots of daffodils, the final disappearance of piles of dirty snow, small buds appearing on lilac trees, oh, and the return of the demented robin. Yes, you read it right. For the last three years our household has been visited, patrolled and haunted by what can only be described as the maniacal, winged, seed of Chuckie.

Two years ago, we began noticing the rascal robin, as he (we think it is a he) began circling our house and peering in windows, apparently looking for our cat. Perhaps we are getting at the source of the scorn.

You see our cat isn’t exactly picky as to her banquet bundles. She has been known to drag home the typical mouse or vole, but she has also been spotted with small squirrels, observed blowing quail feathers from her jowls and seen throwing guilty backwards glances when running away from the fresh pickings of a recently fallen nest. Dare I speculate a robin’s nest, but hard to say when the occupants are (or were) just bald blobs with beaks Just sayin’.

Perhaps this is evolutionary evidence that robins have very long memories and very little patience for famished felines. Obama’s Top Priorities

During the ‘08 campaign, Obama had a list of “top priorities”. They were, not in order of importance: Stabilize the financial markets, create jobs, rescue the U.S. auto industry and, in his spare time, save the world.

But today, having done all that (halt for blowing chocolate milk through nose), while simultaneously putting us $4 trillion further into debt and backfilling hundreds of billions in union shortfalls (at the expense of the rest of us) he began implementing the multi-trillion dollar Obamacare, where every taxpaying American will be forced to buy health insurance.

But this just wasn’t enough for the Obaminator. Now that he has done ‘his’ job (cut for a seizure of hysteria), the rest of the world seems to be coming apart at the seams.

The European Union is in meltdown as a result of the same practices that Obama is just now implementing; the Mideast is going up in flames because of a combination of Islamic fundamentalism putting pressure on Kings, Dictators and other hand-picked Despots of U.S. leaders; and meanwhile mother nature is making wimps of world powers through earthquakes, tsunamis, floods and wildfires. So it looks like all is going to plan.

What is an elitist, intellectual Socialist to do, when he has completed his campaign promises? Well here is the new list of ‘Things to Do’:

1) Keep a seat warm for Richard Trumka’s weekly visits…. Check.

2) Fill out March Madness picks….Check.

3) Wedge in a few rounds of golf…Check.

They still await their Curly, who has yet to be announced. But it really won’t matter, since the rest of the Keystone Cops are running around trying to chew gum and tie their shoes at the same time.

Funny how the Media Circus that is the MSM, MSNBC and CNN are just ho-humming over these possibilities. Laugh if you must, but they know that none of these pseudo-Conservatives pose any real threat to the greatest threat this nation has ever witnessed, the siding-salesman of Socialism himself.

Picking Winners

Now, not to steal “Winning” from Charlie Sheen, but the day I look forward to Liberals or Rhinos or elitist Republicans to pick the Republican winner in future presidential elections is the day I stop drooling oatmeal on my bib in the rocker. For it will never be a Conservative for them to pick. And it will only be a Conservative working with Conservatives that can heal, repeal and resurrect this country back into the greatness it once was.

George Will crawled out from under his rock to declare that yet another Rhino will be the only candidate to beat Obama. His latest dictate is that Michelle Bachman, “is not a serious contender in 2012”. Going on he elucidated that, “We know who settles presidential elections, they are independent voters. Independent voters are not inflamed, and not inflamed in the way of the marginal Republican candidates.”

Now I don’t want to go out on a limb here, but if ‘independent voters’ are not inflamed, I don’t know who is, other than Tea Party voters, Republican voters, and the jilted far Left voters. But they wouldn’t let a Conservative piss on them if their hair was on fire.

With Palin, there are two things that cannot be disputed: First, while Dems and the elitist Republicans contend that she is just not sophisticated nor educated enough to be president, it was the Ivy League sophisticates that brought us to where we are today. And second, If you’re lost in a dark mineshaft, you really don’t care how smart the guy is that has the flashlight.

Radio host, Leslie Marshall, doing her schtick on Fox Business’ Freedom Watch, was just giddy with orgasmic quivers when she trumpeted, that Barack Obama could not be beat in 2012, because, “Democrats have utilized the age old plan of divide and conquer“, to bust up the voting power of Republicans. She went on to allude(with a self satisfied smirk)that there is no Ronald Reagan for Republicans to vote for in November of ‘12.

Well duh Leslie, there is NO Reagan, because left wing loons figured out after Reagan that they needed to reduce, to dust, the image of anyone that threatens the loony Democrats. And they vowed to do it early and often. The shadow of Palin’s approval ratings is living proof of that.

And if anyone wants to see Chris Christie reduced to a 98lb wimp, just let him announce his candidacy. I actually look forward to this little exercise. Not because Chris needs to lose a few pounds, but simply because it would be a perfect example of what I just pointed out. It will clearly illustrate that we now have half of our population, fully represented by folks that believe in socialism and big government and will do anything to buy the votes to keep it that way.

Look for the 2012 campaigns to be a high water mark in registration and voter fraud, vote buying, campaign finance violations, voter intimidation and ballot stuffing. Forget enforcement of laws pertaining to any of the above. They haven’t started investigating all the violations of the last campaign. They aren’t investigating ANY of the constitutional violations since Obama took office and I don’t see any appetite any time soon for any. That is unless they catch a Republican jaywalking someplace, then it’s Katy bar the door.

Because if politicians are anything, they’re hypocrites, a characteristic that is painfully obvious in D.C. Meanwhile all us ‘Little People’ try to live in the shadows, cracks and crevices of America, that hasn’t been made illegal, regulated or taxed into oblivion. We’re so screwed.

Say, if you were confronted by a con man, who says he wants your money for a “perpetual motion” machine, would you give it to him? Okay, I’ll answer it for you….NO! But that is precisely what many State governments are doing. And in the case of Wisconsin, the political perpetual motion machine has been exposed and it’s not going down well with the beneficiaries, especially the corrupt, greedy union leaders

You see, unions figured out, early on, if they give their Democrat politician millions in campaign contributions and he wins the election, their hand picked political ‘punk’ gets to sit on the other side of the table when “collective bargaining” happens. Then, guess what? Sprinkles, Ice Cream and Viagra happens, that’s what. Unfortunately, it’s been happening a lot in too many states for way too long.

Somewhere along the line, the parasites forgot that you must NOT kill the host. So when Governor Walker was faced with balancing his budget, he took a hard look at his costs and discovered, low and behold, that his union employees were making far more in pay and benefits than his private sector taxpayers. Oops, someone forgot to tell the newly minted Republican Governor that he was supposed to keep his lips zipped and just keep raising taxes on the citizens and keep everything quiet.

However, the recent dust-up with the unions over the $700,000 the State was paying for union prescriptions for Viagra, sort of let the cat out of the bag. And getting down into-the-weeds of the benefits revealed a history of union abuse just going from bad to worse, four hour erection jokes notwithstanding.

So, if Madison hadn’t happened, and the Viagra kerfluffle hadn‘t happened non-union taxpayers would have eventually discovered that their Governor had no clue how to run a state anyway, much less than how to cover-up waste and greed. Fortunately though, it did happen, and now is when the healing begins and the Viagra ends.

A Cancer among Us

In the 50’s and early 60s my father owned a logging company in Arcata, California. He had a truck shop there, where the drivers would arrive early each workday (4-5 AM) and start the diesels. While the engines warmed (15- 20 minutes) the drivers would congregate around the coffee pot, (provided by the company) and chew the fat.

This routine had gone on for years, until one day a union organizer talked the drivers into ‘organizing’ and demanding that the company pay for all those 15 minute coffee klatches, built up over years. Nevermind that the company had paid for the coffee and occasional donuts, while they waited.

Well, long story/short was that the company had to pony up more than $50,000 dollars, not an inconsiderable sum in 1961. And the big payoff was that one year later the company closed and assets auctioned off. And even though I was only eleven at the time, that event has never been forgotten.

In later years, I had the acquaintance of a gentleman who owned a lumber mill in Redding. He not only paid his employees well, but also provided them benefits comparable to the larger union operations. Again, his employees were seduced by promises of big paydays and bloated benefits, even though the owner promised that he would shut the plant down if it went union. And it did.

The next day, the owner shut down the main power switch and within a few weeks the mill had been reduced to a concrete slab. Of course threats of criminal charges and lawsuits followed, as did plenty of rebuttal showing that pending pay and benefit concessions would bankrupt HIS company.

What these two micro-examples demonstrate is that unions, in their zeal to enrich themselves, think nothing of destroying both businesses and jobs. Unions seldom if ever “organize” companies in the beginning, but rather patiently wait, like a cancer, until the Host is developed and healthy before striking. And just like any leech, they don’t disappear with the demise of the Host, but rather reappear on another healthy Host once they have destroyed the last.

But in case of public employee unions, the zeal is unrestrained, while the symptoms are masked with budget surpluses, tax increases, fees, taxes, duties, permits, assessments, levies, fines, tariffs, tithes and tolls where none had been imposed before. As we all know, a transparent government is the perfect place to hid greed, mismanagement and waste.

However, as in any Ponzi scheme there will always be a ‘Reckoning‘. And unlike New Jersey, Florida, New York and California, who are so far in the hole they can‘t see daylight, a Reckoning has come to Madison, Wisconsin.

You see, Madison did the unthinkable, they elected a Conservative (you’ll notice I didn’t confuse it with Republican, where the Washington D.C. version is just a Liberal in wuss’ clothing) who ran on “cutting the budget” and damn if he isn’t.

Of course you wouldn’t recognize the ‘Madness in Madison’ if you watched the MSM or MSNBC or CNN or listened to NPR or PBS. Because they will spin it like the pot of gold is just over the hill and there is no problem with the budget until June. UNTIL JUNE!! Well Hell, that’s light years in Liberal Speak. That’s like a welfare junkie thinks that preparing for a famine is getting a rent-subsidized apartment next to a Burger King.

So here is Governor Walker planning for a fiscal doomsday and Liberals know that he is missing some dryer lint somewhere. Their minute-by-minute mantra is that the ‘collective bargaining RIGHT’, (which, by the way is precisely why they are, where they are) cannot be taken away. That’s like telling an alcoholic that he can’t tend bar or a pedophile he can’t work at a day care center. THE INHUMANITY! IT’S UNCONSTITUTIONAL! IT’S IN THE BIBLE!!

No my friends, the Madness in Madison isn’t a “Right” it’s a symptom. The Cancer that is unfettered ’collective bargaining’, that has been spreading within the Host for quite some time, is the disease. Only now both the prognosis and the diagnosis is in plain view for all to see.

Few things are more entertaining than watching Liberals make complete fools of themselves. This happened recently when Democrats, from Wisconsin, who continue to accuse Sarah Palin of “quitting” her governorship, headed off to Illinois, when they discovered that they couldn’t win in Madison. That would be quitting AND collecting a check… NO?

Moreover, the ongoing children-in-the-sandbox mentality is spreading to Indiana, Illinois, New Jersey and beyond, where Unions, Liberals and other blood sucking leaches are discovering that the “Jig” is up, the Gravy Train is off the rails and the ‘Chickens’ are bailing from their roost.

Meanwhile, the Libs are reloading their ‘Hate Palin Mantra Machine‘, ignoring completely that Palin has NOTHING, I mean NOTHING, to do with Wisconsin, New Jersey or Illinois. Those governors, have figured out the “cupboard is bare”, thank you, without the help of Sarah. And now that B. Hussein Obama has NO clothes, the folks paying taxes in those states have come to the realization that “Hope and Change” doesn’t mean what they thought it meant.

But never underestimating how low Libs will go to destroy those they fear, or how high they will reach to pick their opponents, we need to look no further than the New York Times, the L.A. Times or Salon magazine to see who their pick for the Republicans should be. So far, they are clearly looking forward to banging heads with Mitt, Mike or the Newtster. What, did they forget the perennial losers Ron Paul and Alan Keyes?

No, they are picking the 2012 losers now, so as to not recognize the one person they claim has NOT the snowball’s chance of winning, as if SHE has already been dismissed by the Republicans. What? If you are going to pick the winning loser, shouldn’t your fresh road-kill be on top of the list?

And to reveal just how perverted their efforts are, one poll revealed there is NO one on the horizon that could beat Palin in the Primaries, but that she could not beat Obama in the General Election. Say Again! Then back it up with a poll that puts ANY Republican(apparently except for Palin) an “even” chance of beating Obama in the General. Now I don’t want to go out on a limb here, but this line of reasoning should make Freud roll over in his grave.

Perhaps it would be useful, at this juncture, to stack up the former Alaskan Governor to the few top contenders of 2012.

Against the Ken Doll himself: Palin hasn’t a prayer of funding her own campaign like Mr. Romney. But she doesn’t have to. Her connection with middle America and the Tea Party will not just give her the votes of about 40% of America, but a jump start of 2 to3 hundred million bucks to get her message out.

Now I know that this won’t compare with the $1 billion in the Obama war chest. But what does it cost to abandon “Hope and Change” for whatever empty message comes next? Memo to voters: We all know what comes next is just as promising as what came before. Get over it. We all know there is no more ice cream.

Against Huckabuster: Nevermind that both Palin and Huckabee have fat contracts with Fox News, but only Palin can line up $100,000 speaking fees into infinity and beyond. Huckabee’s only hope is that he can lay off the biscuits and gravy long enough to lose the first Primary. Then it is BBQ and playing Bass with every has-been musician that comes into his studio. Now don’t get me wrong. I like Mike Huckabee, but he has surpassed the pinnacle of his abilities, in both music and politics.

Against Newt: Ahh, of all the really great orators, thinkers and pontificators, Newt is the most qualified and least electible of them all. His extra-marital affair (while in office espousing family values), will be hung around his neck like a nuclear albatross, and headlined everywhere until Nov. 2012. Good Luck with that Newt. The barracuda from Wasilla will bury you in family values, while holding her own in the speech dept. Question for Newt: How many $100,000 speeches do you have in the pipeline?

No my friends, while the “Lame Stream Media” has already written off Palin as a serious contender, don’t think for a minute that they have stopped driving over, backing up and driving over and over her political corpse. Palin is the one and only one they fear. And their hypocritical hatred for her is all the proof you need for confirmation.

I’m Fat and You’re Stupid: Why I Like Chris Christie

There’s an old saying: “I’m Fat and You’re Stupid, But I Can Lose Weight”. This pretty well sums up why I like Chris Christie. He tells it like it is, come hell or high water. He treats people like adults. It’s up to the listener to decide if they are.

That seems to be the winning combination in New Jersey, where the 400lb tough guy is growing his fan base with a “pair” like no other. He is simply stating the obvious, then sticking to his guns. And the combination is hitting home, while many are losing theirs. Time has long passed when Hope and Change will salve the savage beast or union thugs.

If Christie knows anything, he knows that with only 10 to 12 percent of our work force being union, America, saddled with unsustainable pay and benefits, is sinking under the weight of the union model. So what if 70 or 80 or 90 percent were unionized? Oh yeah, that’d work.

But while New Jersey, Florida, Wisconsin and Ohio struggle with the reality that they are in deep doo doo, California looks to balance their books with tax increases and steep cuts in public services. Apparently the Rolls Royce health and pension plans, which are the ‘Third Rail’ of California public employee issues, aren’t being considered as part of the state bailout.

This brings us to where the upside down state and federal governments are going, to reverse our financial misfortunes. Whether it be cutting $61 billion from a $1.5 trillion dollar deficit or raising tax on beer and cigarettes in California has just about the same affect. I don’t want to go out on a limb here, but taking the Sprinkles off your 150lb. birthday cake won’t do much to lighten your “Carb Load”.

Let’s face it folks, with politicians more concerned with their re-elections than the future of America, with unions (supported by the MSM) more inclined to protect their control than consider the long term consequences, with voters being distracted by Charlie Sheen, Dancing with the Stars and delusional, prattling leaders espousing revisionist history, Dumbplumber has but one conclusion. So, what do WE think, about the Madness in Madison, we know what the pundits think. We know what the protestors think, because they have made their incoherent comments painfully unclear on the air. We know what the MIA Democrats think, because they have phoned in from their roving motherships, somewhere in Illinois.

And we know what the Governor and remaining State senators think, because they have clearly stated their predicament, objectives and remedies, then patiently await to do the job the majority of voters sent them to do last November.

No, the question here is, what do WE think. That is if we have the ability to arrive at conclusions on our own, without the “talking points” handed down by Obama, his Organizing for America, and the union hacks(threatened with extinction if their sacred cow is gored by those tired of force-feeding it and them with cash).

It will be Wisconsin, not New Jersey, California, Florida or New York to tip over first, on their perch in the insolvency coal mine. And their collective deaths cannot be blamed on foreign wars, the military industrial complex or Wall Street “fatcats“. Their demise will be historically linked to public employee unions, “collective bargaining”, gold plated healthcare benefits and the mother of all societal suicides the “defined benefit pension plans”.

You see, unlike Washington D.C., the states cannot simply print money to cover up their fiscal foolishness. They must raise taxes and/or rob the non-union private sector until Madison happens. And as you can see Madison has happened.

And try as they may to obscure their “extorted” pay and benefits with demands for debate with tepid concessions, offers to “sit down at the table” and claims that collective bargaining is a “civil right“, in the end it is five decades of abuse of 90% of Wisconsin taxpayers by 10 % of the public sector union employees that has brought Madison to its knees. And no amount of protest, abandonment of duty, flagrant violation of law, placard threats or union goons will ever change that.

Parasites Unite

So who would have thought, two weeks ago, that Wisconsin would be the first State to go “Egypt” over their public sector pay and benefit packages? To be more specific, excepting police and firemen, the unsustainable “defined benefit” pensions and Rolls Royce health plans are facing the axe in the “Forward State“. Who could have predicted the hypocrisy, the irony and the sanctimonious un-holiness of the blathering bloodsuckers that have invaded the Statehouse in Madison.

You see, even the lowliest parasite knows that it’s a fool’s errand to kill the host. And in this case, the Wisconsin taxpayers, last November, figured out that they were in a losing battle with the financial fiasco that is the public employee packages, that were extracted through what is affectionately referred to as “collective bargaining”.

In fact, if they ever decide to delete “armed robbery” and “extortion” from the dictionary, Webster could quite easily insert “collective bargaining” without any contradiction whatsoever.

Wisconsin’s governor is now at the epicenter of a storm brewing throughout most of the “57” states and the common denominator, not mentioned, in them are these unsustainable pay and benefit packages, secured for them by union thugs, more concerned with power and greed than keeping the Host alive and well. And the first symptom of the coming epidemic is, unfortunately, the Cheese Head State, where union supporters celebrate over 50 years of union organizing.

So impressed with the state employee protests, the Community Organizer-in-Chief is cheering them on as beacons of the Democratic process. However, he might have forgotten that last November was the Democratic process. Today it’s the union thug process, in which, victory will spell disaster for the State.

You see, as so appropriately addressed by MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, “this isn’t about worker’s rights. It’s about math“. You don’t kill the Host.

Dumbplumber’s Trickle Down Theory

Seems that Michele Obama, stretched for something new to say, has come up with the novel concept of giving tax credits to mothers that breast feed.

Hello! Or should I say, what the Hell--o? Tax credits for breast feeding!

Well then, I have an idea, I want men to get tax credits for whizzing outside. Yes, you heard it here first. If a woman gets a credit for breast feeding, a man gets one for pissing outside. And if you think about it, it makes more sense than for breast feeding.

Cutting loose in the out and about saves water, it conserves energy and lowers water bills. I mean if you save 1.6 gallons of water with every whiz, and whiz 6 or 8 times a day (depending on how many cups of “Joe” or beers you drink) well then it adds up to a (not to twist a metaphor) boatload at the end of the year. Or put another way, how much water does a woman save when she breast feeds? Waiting, waiting….. still waiting.

Let’s face it, the planet has just so many flushes in it before all hell breaks loose. But every woman on the planet could breast feed and all you would have is a bunch of guys gawking and rubber necking, on their way to the nearest tree.

And talk about stimulus, Holy Moly. If, like former Speaker Pelosi says, “unemployment and welfare stimulates the economy”, well Hell, then tax credits for whizzing members is pure gold. I mean, this is ‘Manna from Heaven‘, and not to state the obvious, the original “trickle down theory“. We’re talkin’ Unicorns, Yellow Brick Roads and Golden Showers, oh my!

There may just be no end to the cold cash that could be ‘poured’ into our economy. Get it? Poured. Ok, I’ll move on.

Well folks, this is what I’ve been waiting for.

By your own admission, you have been sending me the subscription alerts since Sept. (five months). I would have you notice that my last subscription was paid by a check dated July 19, 2010, which meant that I had probably only received the August issue before you started carpet bombing me with subscription requests last Sept.

Well, last month I had had enough and finally located your phone number in your magazine, since you fail to include it with your notices. Please note also that, as I told your nice young man, “Raoul“(or what the hell ever his name is) “Classic Trucks” does NOT appear in the Palm Coast, Florida phone book, or information for that matter. Raoul calmly told me that every subscriber gets the notices, when there is a sale. Ok, I bought that.

But today’s notice of interruption in March, (by my count, a full 5 months prior to my 12th issue) blew that out of the water. Therefore, I am keeping copies of all this info, for future reference and sending you a check for 12 months instead of the 24. Well, with all the 24/7/365 brouhaha that has been generated about Sarah Palin, one has to wonder, what in Heaven’s name has this woman done to anyone that deserves this much air time, printers ink and expenditure of vitriol. I mean serial killers, Ponzi scheme billionaires and mass murdering dictators don’t get this much attention. No, this is about clammy hands, dry mouth, sphincter puckering, cold, unadulterated fear. So what’s the deal?

It is common knowledge, that Sarah Palin is a threat to those that criticize her. However, it didn’t occur to me until recently just who “THEY” are. Perhaps it’s more important to see who “THEY” aren’t first.

We should realize that “THEY” are not the Liberals stomping around America with Hate Palin signs or long standing Republicans still reminiscing about Dwight Eisenhower. Hollywood isn’t threatened by Palin, because with or without her they will continue to make crap movies and pass them off as entertainment. And the stars, no matter how detached from reality, will continue to be treated as some kind of modern day Gods. So why do they hate her so much? And what of 99% of the print Media? The Associated Press, The New York Times and their ‘trickle down’ sycophants across America who repeat the Palin attacks, without question, without fact checking, without historical reference and without conscience or consideration for the rest of her family, and more importantly without a hint of balance, as to comparable perceived slights by the Left, ignore that they have invested so much in crushing Sarah Palin’s image that they have forfeited any rights to journalistic credibility, if they ever held them.

So what of the MSM talking heads? Katie Couric, Brian Williams and Diane Sawyer have nothing to fear from Palin, other than wrath for treating her like crap. And we would be remiss if we neglected the Left Wing blogs, where once good, then fair, then mediocre writers go to wither on the vine , then die.
As best as I can tell, Palin has done nothing but cheer and promote adherence to the Constitution, lower taxes, personal responsibility and faith in a higher being. Therefore she is already 50% opposite Louis Farrakhan and diametrically opposite the President, so with Obama’s 47% approval, she should have at least a 53% approval rating….Right! Go figure.

Perhaps then, we should look further up the food chain for who fears Palin.

I believe you are just beginning to get warm when you get to the U.S. Congress, those that love them and those that pull their strings. Which, you would think, would be the perfect enemy of both the Left and Right. But nooooo, most of them think Palin is Huey Long, Lizzy Borden and Tammy Faye Bakker, all rolled into one.

Well now that we’ve peeled back the ‘Have Not’s’, let’s take a look at the Have’s, who’ve a vested interest in shoving Sarah Palin into the dustbin of history: How about the President, the ‘Establishment-Entrenched’ politicians (both Left and Right), Big Oil, OPEC, Kst. (from end to end) and their clients, One World Government advocates, “Big Green” and let’s not forget George Soros, who is the Puppet and Pay Master for many of the above. Now we’re getting somewhere.

You see, Sarah is a threat NOT because she is a hard working, non-ivy league educated, moose killing, pom-pom waving, God fearing, Red blooded, patriotic American. She is feared because more of America identifies with her than identify with those that fear her. And therein lies the rub. She is everything most voting America cherishes and nothing like those that control America. And she was all those things right up to and until she signed on with John McCain, when, with a slight pause, the “Establishment Machine” went to work massaging her image.

So America, your first impressions were correct. Only after Madison Ave., the MSM, the Liberal blogs, Hollywood and Print Media got finished, you didn’t recognize what you already knew. Snakeoil Obama

Well, our White House Snake Oil salesman backed his wagon up to Capitol Hill and again yammered on and on for over an hour about a lot of things he knows little or nothing about. Now to be honest, Dumbplumber didn’t watch the SOTU speech, but he didn’t need to. He was getting his nails done, trimming his beard and did a little exfoliating. SOTU is a perfect time to spruce one’s self up, especially if Dog Whisperer isn’t on.

When the Socialist Pitch Man was done, it wasn’t so much about what he said, but what he didn’t say. Meanwhile he was burning up his Thesaurus like nobody’s business. Nowhere to be heard were the terms “stimulus”, “unions”, “bailouts” or “more regulation”. Instead we were bombarded with “investment”, “reform”, “clean energy” and “spending restraint”. Like this isn’t all about re-election.

Also out is “shovel ready projects”; in is “infrastructure investment” (short for the ‘shovel ready projects’ that didn’t get built by the unions the first or second time around). And don’t forget PayGo, which was dead the moment Pelosi uttered it.

The big ugly festering boil of the speech was the “Green Energy” tri-fecta of Wind, Solar and Bean Fart technology. Well, bean farts are new and have taken the place of ‘clean coal’, because you can shut down coal mines, but you will never stop bean farts. They are 24/7, night or day, rain or shine, wind or calm. But like dragging your feet on carpet, bean farts could make electricity, only you don’t know what to do with it, when it’s made.

Then take Obama’s electric cars….please. If you live in a rural area, in a Red State west of the Mississippi, or basically north of the Mason Dixon Line geographically, you might want to think twice about one of these ‘Green‘ atrocities. Your 60 to 100 mile radius drops dramatically when your heater, wipers and lights are on and is virtually nonexistent, when you are sitting in a blizzard burning up your mileage to keep from freezing to death.

Yes Sir. Nothing was accomplished at the SOTU. But when this Snake Oil merchant isn’t doing anything, it’s a good thing. Now we just have to undo most of what he’s done so far. Dumbplumber

However, we have ignored, for way too long, the Darwin Awards for really stupid politicians, who are determined to put America somewhere south of Rwanda for economic development, defense and spending taxpayer money. Therefore, it should not go without notice that Dumbplumber awards the Political Darwin Award to:

Nancy Pelosi: Who single-handedly culminated everything that’s wrong with Congress, when she announced that, “Congress had to vote for Obamacare before they could read it“. The really surreal thing about this is that 534 members of congress didn’t have a vote to have the Nan removed from her office in a straightjacket and sent to a secure facility for the insane.

John McCain: He made the unforgivable mistake of introducing the world to Sarah Palin, but has returned to hugging and kissing on his colleagues, like someone returning to summer camp in the Catskills. Nevermind that he and most of his contemporaries were ankle deep in the run-up to the crash of ‘08 and a virtually silent thumb sucking partner to Pelosi’s Big Grab of ’06.

Of course we can’t ignore the lefty loons, Anthony Weiner and Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, who also take the “most obnoxious T.V. guest awards” for their rambling, incoherent, but overly zealous cheerleading of everything Obama.

The entire Democrat and elite Republican leadership, who agree on one thing: Sarah Palin’s ingrained belief that smaller government, lower taxes and regulation, more personal responsibility, accountability to the voters and firm belief in a supreme Creator is enough reason to declare her unfit for higher office.

Yes, the Dumbplumber is tired. He’s tired because a good friend mentioned yesterday that ‘he’ was tired also. Oh, not tired in the physical sense, but rather tired mentally from fending off Liberals on an endless quest for Socialism.

He’s tired of Liberals pissing on him and telling him it’s raining. Tired of listening to Liberal talking heads condemning Conservatives of some perceived social injustice then cheering Liberal leaders for the same offense. Tired of having to explain Econ 101 every day to those that cheer an unsustainable path of governance over an electorate too stupid to vote them out.

He’s tired of George W. Bush being bashed for Iraq and Afghanistan wars, then Obama being ignored for continuing both; tired of listening to a President who freely interchanges the word ‘spend’ with the word ‘invest’ and ‘union’ with ’labor’ or ‘jobs’ , especially when the ‘investment’ is going to less than 18% of America in the name of ‘jobs‘. He’s tired of explaining the Constitution, common sense and logic to someone who graduated 325th of their class, majoring in Women’s Lit and Unicorn Grooming.

Dumbplumber is particularly tired of witnessing about half of the country condemn one person, at the behest of a few squawking heads on Liberal television and the Hollywood illuminati, when the “condemned” sounds a whole lot more like the condemners sitting around their kitchen tables, than those doing the complaining. But hey, that’s just me. He’s also tired of candidates co-opting a popular Conservative movement, just to get elected, then climb in bed with establishment leaders for business as usual.

He’s tired of explaining what the word “unsustainable” means. And finally, he’s tired of promoting Smaller Government, Lower Taxes, Personal Responsibility and Adherence to the Constitution, then witnessing the exact opposite by those that should know better. He might as well be building sand castles in front of a rising tide. It’s enough to discourage any flag-waving patriotic American, much less than the likes of the Dumbplumber.

After less than 48 hours of non-stop coverage, speculation, opinion and outright fabrication, America is beginning to sort out the details of what happened in Tuscon, Arizona. No, I don’t mean the shooting. I mean the Media aftermath.

We know, for instance, that some nut bag, with interpersonal relationship issues, somehow managed to gather together what few pieces of reality he could grasp and combined them in a twisted episode of his own version of either “24” or Jersey Shore, with guns. But that isn’t the real story.

Jarred Loughner was just the match that lit the fire of self inflicted ignorance within the electronic and print media around the world. And in the largest case of irony ever documented, many of these media types prefaced their comments with a codicil of impartiality and non-partisanship, just before they launched into a unifying rant of unsubstantiated finger pointing not seen since Richard Jewell DIDN’T set off a bomb at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.

Nevermind that it was later learned that Eric Robert Rudolph had planted the bomb, Jewell was forever haunted by the media’s irresponsible branding him a terrorist and died a lonely and indelibly tainted soul in 2007. But the silence and lack of apology by the media for their ‘lust of blame’ is almost deafening.

The cold reality is that Big Media impatiently awaits any opportunity to demonize their enemies (anyone to the right of Saul Alinsky) and thereby support their failing Socialist experiment, into infinity. And in the ultimate incongruity, they are propping up and promoting the very interests that will be their demise. In the end, the socialist’s regime will have a State run media, not unlike today’s New York Times and MSNBC, but not needing their current sycophants to spread and support their propaganda.

No my friends, Tuscon isn’t just a symptom of America’s illness. It is a taste of what we’re facing when those who benefit from America’s greatness hate the ones who are paying for it.

Re-Branding the Mad Cows

In a twist of political genius, Nancy Pelosi is calling on Steven Spielberg to “re-brand” the Democrat Party. Apparently the “Nan” isn’t happy with how Conservatives portray her Party. Like somehow Progressive, Liberal, Detached from Reality, Mouth Breathing, Spittle Spewing, Kool Aid Drooling, Leg Tingling, Empty Headed Sycophants is a bad thing.

Far be it from me to caution the Nan from Fran, but betting the farm on the guy that brought us, ’Duel’, ‘Close Encounters of the Third Kind‘, ‘ET the Extra Terrestrial‘, ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’ and ‘Jaws’ as being the person to turn to for a re-branding may not be the best plan.

I mean the image of Democrats as the ominous ‘Peterbuilt’ (Duel) chasing down the Conservative salesman, Dennis Weaver, may not be the best example of representing the people, inasmuch as the Peterbuilt eventually goes over a cliff in a fiery crash. Kind of like the housing scandal, no?

Then there is the obvious resemblance of ET to Congressman Anthony Weiner, who really needs to go home instead of phone home. And it cannot go without mention that the old dinosaurs, Barney Frank, John Kerry and Chris Dodd, who have been feeding at the public trough for way too long, are sending out the likes as Debbie Wasserman-Schultz to be the Velociraptor of the Democrat Party, munching on everyone in her wake.

And who doesn’t want to forget the pit of snakes in the Raiders of the Lost Ark, which is the perfect metaphor for the 111th Congress.

No, Nancy has committed the ‘Freudian Slip’ of having the great illusionist, Mr. Spielberg, make over what has been the most destructive Party since FDR thought it was a good idea to meddle with human nature in the 30’s. And America hasn’t gotten over it since.

So, if Ms. Pelosi wants to re-brand the Democrats, she might just resign her post and stop making her Congressional popularity lower than that of Fidel Castro, the Uni-Bomber and Lee Harvey Oswald.

Funny how the incoming recruits to Capitol Hill are getting all about the Constitution. And now I see that they want to make every Bill have attached the provision in the Constitution, where they are allowed to submit such legislation. Yeah, and people in Hell want ice water too.

Ok, I’ll bite. But why don’t we start with landmark legislation over the past 20, 30 or 50 years that was passed without this same requirement? Suddenly, we’ve become all sensitive over what is Constitutional, and what is not. Like they know doo-squat about it in the first place.

Oh, I don’t know. I have a copy, of the Constitution, that I can carry in my pocket, that’s just 46 pages long and I have no problem at all understanding what is contained, not withstanding the Federalist Papers. Especially since when it was drafted there was no Internet, televangelists, high-speed rail or electricity. Likewise there was no unemployment insurance, illegal immigration, Medicare or Social Security.

And I don’t need a Constitutional attorney to explain to me what separation of Church and State is, because there isn’t one. It is simply that a government cannot ‘create’ or mandate a church or religion. Likewise, there are NO restrictions to owning a firearm, because you never know when we are going to be invaded by Canada, Mexico, or, in fact, our own government. Just ask those that lived in pre-war Germany.

I was particularly amused to learn that Wisconsin’s 800,000 licensed hunters alone make up the world’s eighth largest standing army.

I also am not confused about the Commerce Clause allowing Washington, D.C. to do about anything it wants with communications, insurance or food, because it “MIGHT” be shipped across state lines. But I can tell you that the Commerce Clause wasn’t created to allow government control of everything we say, sell or do in the U.S.

But you wouldn’t know it the way the Supreme Court has allowed our “Representatives” to run amok at our expense, since well before Franklin Roosevelt decided it was a good idea to meddle in the free enterprise system in the 30’s. No, opening the door to socialism is a lot like being a little bit pregnant.

Big Government has it in their heads that it is within their power to solve every perceived problem that comes down the yellow brick road. Which by the way is built and being maintained by the Federal Highway Administration.

And by any stretch of the imagination, I haven’t found anywhere in the Constitution that I must pay for the abortions of drug addicted hookers, who refuse to take free birth control that I also pay for under the Welfare Clause.

Trust me I don’t see anywhere that I must birth, raise, educate and provide healthcare to illegal immigrants, that essentially posses more rights than I do. And to that end, I haven’t discovered where I am obligated to install and maintain over 700 military bases around the world, just because we are the world’s super power. And try as I might, bailing out America’s Super Banks appears nowhere in those 46 pages, especially since it was they that got themselves in to the financial pooky bin in the first place.

No America, it is a dramatic gesture that our freshmen Legislators are drifting towards a Constitutional Congress. However, absent immediate action on returning our Country to some sense of sanity, this will remain just a gesture.

Sadly, I believe that a room full of eighth grader would do a better job interpreting the Constitution than the clowns in D.C. do now.

No folks, sometimes you just have to take a men (or in this our Founder’s) at their words. And stop reading something into it that isn’t there.

America, after considerable contemplation, I have concluded that we are, no the world is, fu, fu, fu, screwed. And this does not come easily. You see, after a landslide election, where voters were moved by the cataclysmic warnings of economic calamity awaiting us, if things don’t change, we are pirouetting on the head of a pin, of a hand grenade.

For example, we have our current Speaker of the House, claiming that unemployment and welfare benefits are “stimulating” the economy. We have the chairman of the Federal Reserve stating that printing hundreds of billions every few months will NOT create inflation. We have the current leadership in the White House and Congress, riding a wave of unsustainable spending, locked and loaded to enact even more taxing to pay for more spending…. into infinity and beyond.

Now, as if that isn’t enough, after the landslide election, overwhelmed by the Tea Party and those that claim to support the Constitution, smaller government, lower taxes, and more personal responsibility, none of the above has been uttered since election day.

No, once the Tea Party leeches got the votes they needed, they skittered into the cracks and dark corners like the cockroaches they are, instead of standing on the Congressional steps and condemning the remnants of a Congress that couldn’t send the most corrupt Congressman in history out the House door in handcuffs. Meanwhile we watch Wesley Snipes self commit to a federal institution for years of incarceration, for crimes paling in comparison. And I am still awaiting an apology from Congress.

The problem here folks isn’t lack of taxes, the problem is that government can’t justify the money they spend now. They can’t even come to terms that the money they spend is ours, not theirs. They can’t admit that most of their spending is on their own cost of operation, their blind commitment to entitlements (for unions, and the so-called poor) and the unjustifiable spending for failing environmental and social programs. No people, we are stepping over dollars to save dimes.

The sad reality is, if we took ALL the wealth, every nickel, away from the top 2 percent, that we’re trying to chisel a few more billion from, it wouldn’t make a dent in the U.S. deficit. Dumbplumber

If last Tuesday’s Local Fish Wrap Newspaper proves anything, it’s that, “You Can’t Stop Stupid“. Hell, in this case, you can’t even slow it down.

Dumbplumber is thinking about starting an online program and will call it “So You Think You’re Smarter than a Newspaper Publisher”. In the first episode we demonstrate that our local editor/publisher/delivery boy failed miserably to confirm, authenticate or otherwise corroborate erroneous statements defaming Board members of the FRCSD.

Such appears routine for ‘our’ Fourth Estate serial Offender.

I feel sorry for our Publisher. He is so desperate to sell papers that he puts his ignorance in print--draws fire-- then doubles down by repeating the ignorance again. Nevermind that he was accused of “provably erroneous” reporting, his response was, as was his errors, a pathetic attempt to put out a fire with gasoline.

Dear Editor

I continue to wait for the latest shoe to drop in the ongoing saga of the Fall River Mills Community Services District. And it cannot go un-noticed that no matter what they do, the District Board of Directors seem to be continually accused of being in violation of The Brown Act. Like somehow the Brown Act is the Holy Grail of Public Service, guardian of all that is necessary to protect the citizenry.

Meanwhile, over $250,000 evaporated under the watch of the local newspapers over the last ten years. Most of it was a result of violations of the Brown Act in previous administrations. But I don’t recall THOSE headlines.

It cannot go unmentioned that our current CSD Directors have lives, beyond the CSD, and obligations that prevent them from being scholars of the Brown Act, and who serve, without compensation, just like previous Boards. What sets them apart from other Boards is that these directors serve for the BENEFIT of the District. They have chosen to sacrifice a considerable amount of their time serving this community, when few others care to show up for meetings, except when their water bills get too high.

The question here is, whose interest here is being served with the ongoing criticism over the Brown Act? The best interest of a community whose CSD was in peril, with a few hundred dollars in the bank just 2 years ago and near financial collapse, because a previous manager was squandering money, right under the nose of the local press, in violation of the Brown Act?

Or a Press who is more interested in creating controversy out of whole cloth in order to sell papers. A Press who uncritically and without verification of facts, simply parrots rumor and innuendo.

I would submit there should be a similar binding Brown Act for the Fourth Estate. Like the Accuracy in Reporting, Spelling and Enlightenment Act or ARSE. Nevermind that many stories over the last 2 years contained provable falsehoods, fabrications and outright character assassination, in what can only be described as reporting at its worst.
You see, while hardly a week goes by that we don’t hear more Editorial complaints about the Board’s efforts to secure sound fiscal footing going forward, I don’t recall a printed peep about illegal pay raises and outrageous benefit packages, failure to comply with State reporting or even failure of past management to comply with Grand Jury recommendations and CPA warnings of lack of “internal controls” on spending……for the previous 10 years.

And it can’t go un-noticed the lack of reporting about the facts that OUR District now has the liability of paying 100% of unemployment insurance to previous employees out of cash flow, to the tune of thousands of dollars, because previous managers failed to inform the Board of the lack of unemployment insurance coverage: and failed to make SDI payments from District payroll, which is a violation of State Law.

I don’t seem to recall THAT being a headline in the local papers, that is until new Board members pushed for a forensic audit which unearthed irregularities that were being performed right under the nose of attending reporters, who (not withstanding the Brown Act) had every opportunity to review District finances under the Public Records Act.

Apparently, the Press also failed to report that there were several violations of Prop 218, by illegally raising rates in the District without due process. Instead the Press makes sensational headlines about harried Board members handling mundane administrative duties expeditiously over the phone instead of declaring notice of a special meeting and rearranging schedules in accommodation and delaying the execution of vital business.

But thanks to the crack reporting of local papers, a lot of things were going on at ratepayer’s and taxpayer’s expense which obviously wasn’t contained in the Brown Act and was far more damaging than failing to post notice of a ‘closed’ session 72 hours before a meeting, or expediting prudent solutions by phone.

No my friends, “sinning by silence, when they should protest, DOES make cowards of men“. But constantly criticizing those who had the fortitude and courage to confront the corruption and mismanagement and turn the District around, is wearing thin. Better that you should reserve your protests for those that brought this District to its knees.

Biting the Hand

You know, when you are in deep water and going down fast, and someone is there to throw you a life-ring, you don’t spend a lot of time carping about the savior‘s outfit, makeup or hairdo. You just reach out and grab the damn ring. On the other hand, in the case of Sarah Palin, there’s a lot of folks that are spending precious time bitching, moaning and complaining about her Tina Fey impersonations. Point being, never bite the hand that is throwing you a life saver.

Until John McCain introduced Palin to the world stage, in the run-up to the ‘08 elections, America was on an irreversible path into the abyss. Nobody at the controls was doing anything to right our course, much less Mr. McCain himself. But here comes a breath of fresh air, with some very revolutionary concepts, originally scribbled down in that seldom reviewed but often ridiculed U.S. Constitution, and suddenly Palin is in the crosshairs of “establishment” politicians, hair-brained Liberals and delusional Moonbats everywhere. So what’s the deal?

Palin walked onto the center stage in Ohio during the fall of 2008. Her opening salvo was a mixture of patriotism, honor and common sense that rocked the audience and rocketed her approval rating to almost 80%. This phenomenal opening night popularity has now dwindled to 40%, with an “unfavorable rating to over 50%. So, what’s changed?

Perhaps we should review what has taken place since September ‘08. The woman? No. She is the same Sarah Palin that walked onto that stage two years ago. She still hunts, fishes and land levels her political opponents wherever she goes.

The message? No. She still advocates adherence to the Constitution, smaller government, less regulation, lower taxes and developing our own energy resources. And this is perhaps where her train started heading off the tracks. Because when you advocate the exact opposite of what’s going on, you are unfortunately going to begin rubbing crossways those who worship at the alter of Big Government.

No, Mrs. Palin did the unthinkable. She advocated sanity in the midst of madness, order among chaos, and common sense to quell the self inflicted delirium that is Washington D.C.. And she did it with a smile, which just drove The Establishment, the Looney Left and Enviro-Nazis nuts. So it didn’t take long for Hollywood, the MSM and media maggots everywhere to dig into their bags of dirty tricks and begin the slow, methodical and flamboyant movement to grind Sarah into dust. And it’s working!

Thanks to the Nutroots, her ratings are in the tank. But the good news is, mass media has pulled the curtain back on their own political manipulations and bent towards seeing the USA turned into a Socialist/Elitist/Utopia, nevermind that history tells us that the Socialist Model always ends in abject failure. But that hasn’t stopped the Leftards from turning Sarah’s image into that of a gun totting, festering pustule irritating the backside of both Big Government and the Progressive bowel movement, all to the delight of Middle America, the Tea Party and all those that love America and what she stands for.

Specifically, the Left condemns Palin for hunting wolves from a helicopter, but doesn’t bat an eye at an abortionist stuffing surgical scissors into the brain of a partially born baby and pureeing the brains into something resembling the scrambled grey matter used by Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann each night on the Maniac, Screwball, Nutbag, Blowhard and Carbuncle Network. Liberals think nothing of paying millions every month flying Nancy Pelosi back and forth to her home in San Francisco, but criticize Sarah for getting paid for a book that she actually wrote.

It has gotten so crazy that they actually blame Palin for her daughter getting pregnant, by her boyfriend. Like that doesn’t happen about a thousand times a day in America. You just can’t control teenage hormones, like you can’t control the K street lobbyists, greedy politicians and runaway cost overruns. Like anybody’s trying to control them. But by God, it’s Palin’s fault that she left her daughter to the whims of nature.

And how dare she take the Tea Party message of smaller government, lower taxes and personal responsibility on the road to support like minded candidates around the country. Isn’t she supposed to be home baking cookies and Moose stew, while monitoring the chastity belts on daughters. Willow and Piper (You know, you can’t start too young in the Palin family).

No America, Palin has become a punching bag not because she is an uneducated, unqualified hick from the sticks of Alaska, but because she is a sensible, sexy, sane, antidote to most of what’s wrong with Washington D.C. today. And if Liberals and the Establishment are to maintain the madness, they must destroy her, even though she has done nothing that isn’t muttered every day across America.

So people, it’s up to you to decide if you are going to leave your future to the likes of Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid or even John (illegal alien loving, first Amendment hating) McCain, or grab a whole bunch of hope from a mother of five from Wasilla, who did it her way, the hard way, into the hearts of those that love America.

Forclosure Full Circle

Now let me get this straight. First, the Community Re-investment Act forced bankers to lend to folks that did not qualify for mortgages.

Second, American bankers weren’t lending fast enough, so Barney Frank, Chris Dodd and Company upped the anti and told Fanny and Freddy to backstop every mortgage that came across their desks, damn the torpedoes.

Third, with the full knowledge that “anything goes“, bankers, mortgage brokers and lending officers were processing loans, but not demanding such trivialities as dotting “I’s” crossing “T’s” or bothering to check out financial statements, verifying income or even confirming employment.

Fourth, not satisfied with the quick cash being made on billions in commissions, some very shrewd mortgage bankers, investment bankers and assorted other carnival barkers-come bankers decided it would be clever to bundle up these worthless pieces of crap with other good loans, then chop them up in chunks and sell them off to other greedy investment gurus that back stopped registered securities with the contaminated bundles, chunks of bundles and these re-packaged kibbles and bits.

Fifth, so when the wheels started coming off the gravy train, the brokers were long gone with their commissions, having peddled them off to little old ladies, college endowments and pension fund managers as “SOLID” investments. But when things went Dixie everyone turned around and said, “this is a mess, we need a bailout from the American taxpayer, so our economy won’t collapse“. And who was their for the bailout? You got it, Barney and Chris along with a paralyzed Congress.

Sixth, then the banks that were made whole after their employees had already been paid tens of billions in commissions and bonuses, gave their CEO’s hundreds of billions more in golden parachutes--not unlike Goldman Sach’s Hank Paulson, who walked away with a $500 million severance.

But when the banks started foreclosing, (because those that lost their jobs began defaulting due to the inevitable financial meltdown), started by, wait for it, BANKERS, there was a problem. Seems that the bankers had failed to keep required control of the paperwork, necessary for foreclosure (Probably because they were too busy counting their money).

So now we need another bailout for bankers (that started the meltdown in the first place) along with some new laws to clean up some old mistakes.

And that folks is how we got to where we are.

You and I fail to produce documents in court, we take our lumps. Bankers fail to produce documents and they get a pass, new laws and more of our money.

If this isn’t clear to you, you need to stop watching the alphabet networks and have your mommy explain it to you. And more importantly, if you don’t believe me, just re-elect all the incumbents and any socialists running and let them finish what they started.

What my Daddy Said

My daddy always told me that I should say nothing, if I didn’t have anything good to say about someone. Well, you can add that to the other smart things my dad said to me, that I didn’t listen to. And today is no different.

He often told me--in the 60’s, when there were scores of lumber companies in the pacific northwest --that there would be a handful of lumber companies, by the 70’s, that would monopolize the private timberlands in America….and he was right. He also said that these same timber giants would use the “government” regulatory process (press ganged later by the eco-Nazis) to stifle competition and discourage entrepreneurs from entering into the timber business…he was right again.

And this scenario is repeated over and over again from industry to industry.

Oh, my dad wasn’t a brain surgeon, but he was no dummy either. You see, he saw what was happening well before it happened, and not unlike you and I, he could see it coming, but couldn’t do a damn thing about it. So maybe it’s better that he isn’t around today to witness the hijacking of the greatest nation on the earth. As the ones being hijacked are the very ones participating in the hijacking.

I mean who wasn’t bombarded with tales of titillating distraction of Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan or Alec Baldwin, while Barney, Chris, Nancy and Harry were systematically plundering America’s financial future. Who was all busy watching American Idol, Jay Leno and John Stewart, while our U.S. Congress and the White House was transforming America from a beacon of hope and success and into a Chicago style pay for play, socialist state of entitlement addicted junkies.

No folks, most of America sits by glued to contrived events designed to distract us in the name of free enterprise, while the same forces are complicit by silencing those who would report the calamity being thrust upon us.

A little reflecting

After a few days of “opinion” silence, the Dumbplumber realized that all his ranting and railing probably hasn’t changed anyone’s mind about the abysmal state of our nation. Now I don’t want to imply that the ranting wasn’t without merit, but in the big scheme of things it hasn’t produced any measure of accomplishment, as to the goal of enlightening anyone who isn’t already enlightened.

This became painfully apparent with a visit to family a few weeks ago, when I was asked by a favorite auntie, “please tell me you don’t like Sarah Palin”. To which I answered, “what’s not to like?” My immediate thought was, what has Sarah Palin done to anyone?

The silence was deafening. I then proceeded to ask her what she knew about the current state of political affairs in the western world. Her response was that she wasn’t very informed at all. To which I continue to wondered why she has an opinion at all, if she is that uninformed.

Then hit it me. She is an entitlement junkie, living primarily off of a military pension and benefits left by her late husband, some 30 years ago. And since then she has spent her life in a secure cocoon, indulging herself with endless continuing education and merrily skipping through life in blissful ignorance of how all this security is provided. But not unlike many of her widow contemporaries, Auntie has shunned remarriage, as she knows full well it would end her “tax payer provided” gravy train.

No, I suspect that my Liberal kin will continue to get their Liberal political influences from the likes of academia, the Alphabet Networks and Oprah. And no amount of common sense, historical clarity or documented refutation will change their minds, even though the road they are driving down is taking down America.

The Liberal aunties, nephews, nieces and uncles of this world are basically tattooed with an ideology of those that would replicate centuries of failed societal models, that are painfully unsustainable in any context. And it has come to me that until they are jerked aback with the cold reality of our inability to maintain this farce, their relationship to the obtuse will remain intact.

Whitman’s Gamble

So what’s the big whoop about Meg Whitman? I mean it’s her money, let her spend it the way she wants. Has anyone asked the ad folks, the networks, the local T.V. stations, the print shops, the campaign office landlords? Oh hell no. They just look at $100 million spent and cry EXCESS! SHE’S TRYING TO BUY THE ELECTION!!

Well now, let’s reflect. When Steven Spielberg spends $200 million over six months, writing, producing and promoting a movie that makes $600 million, we don’t hear a peep.

When we find out that Charlie Sheen makes $800,000 per episode for 2 and a Half Men, that only about 2 million of us watch, I see yawns. Or when we discover that Jay Leno makes some $750,000 every weeknight, we just wonder how many cars he will buy this month. Now that’s Leno making $100 million every six months, or so, and nobody cares.

But Meg Whitman gambles her own fortune to save the State of California from inevitable insolvency and disaster and eyes roll all over America. Well you bunch of short sighted A-holes.

Has the notion that this woman might just be willing to spend much of her considerable fortune, endure endless and baseless personal attacks, as well as have her character assassinated, all to save the state she loves, ever occurred to anybody but me? No, I didn’t think so.

How about we all just take a deep breath and let the show go on? How about we put our partisan grudges on hold, or at least into context for the next 49 days and you won’t be watching her spend any more of HER own money, so foolishly? Quite frankly, anybody that criticizes her for her efforts is just a short sighted, Liberal hack, lacking any historical perspective for her efforts.

After all, she is just attempting to do something that the Legislature in Sacramento has been trying to undo for over 20 years…save the 8th largest economy on the planet.

Talk is Cheap

So here I sit listening to the Sunday morning talking heads debate our sad economic existence and how we’re going to get things straightened out. Funny though, the only thing that’s being discussed is continuing or not continuing the Bush tax cuts. Hoookaayyy! Like that’s the magic bullet.

So, here I go one more time, weighing in on what a small businessman sees as the problem and solution. To keep this simple, so that even the most seasoned mouthpiece understands it, Dumbplumber is going to use a metaphor. (For the folks at MSNBC that means a figure of speech to make a point.)

Let’s say our economy is an overloaded donkey stuck in a muddy ditch. Now it’s bad enough that he is knee deep in thick goo that has doomed many before him. But this poor beast has a burden upon him that was all that he could carry, even in the best of times. (That my MSNBC loving friends is all the taxes, regulations, fees, permits, levies, duties, tributes, tolls, tithes, dues, obligations, codes, decrees, edicts, unions, ordinances, statutes, agencies, duplicitous bureaucracies, (did I mention laws?), etc., etc. AND etc..

Now, for the sake of this conversation, is where our economy is right now. So what do all the experts say to do? Well, the Right want to cut taxes and let things take their course. On the other hand the Left wants to heap more taxes, regulations (just 70,000 this year alone), and government bureaucracy on top of bureaucracy and sell it to us as job creation. Then to maintain the façade of respectability, they want to borrow more trillions from China and hand it over to unions and State governments to maintain the bloated bureaucracies they already have and call it saving jobs. Oh yeah, how‘s that working for you?

The Dumbplumber hasn’t heard one word about taking the load off the donkey, getting him out of the ditch then return a load that he can pack under his weakened state. No, they just want him to magically claw himself out and keep on truckin‘, while the ‘experts’ stand on the sidelines and debate a remedy. And this Pilgrims is the difference between the Donkey and Jackasses.
