On 22nd Thought

Several years ago, I noticed many comments about the possibility of Preezy Obama dismissing the 22nd Amendment and taking on a third presidency or worse, becoming the Dictator In Chief.  It was then dismissed as impossible, because the Congress and SCOTUS would never allow it. 

Now it is looking more and more like a possibility.

Since the passage of 2009’s ‘Porkulus’ Bill, and the subsequent Obamacare, passed unread, along party lines (and still unfinished) has also weathered two SCOTUS decisions, despite public knowledge that “people were too stupid to understand it”.  And Obamacare still proceeds unabated in killing off healthcare, while granting unlimited power to the IRS in controlling our lives.

And speaking of the IRS, it appears that they and the Justice Department have been conspiring to shut down challenges to Democratic power, by denying ‘non-profit’ status to everyone but Democrat organizations, totally rigging elections.  In addition to successfully denying investigations of subpoenaed documents to Republican committees in Congress.  The fix appears to be in and it is staying in.

And speaking of "rigging elections", nary a peep has been raised at the glaring fact that many dozens of voting districts in 'Swing' states had NO votes cast for Mitt Romney in the last election.  We're talking about many hundreds of thousands of votes cast without ONE Romney vote.  How's that for coincidence?

It has become so bad on Capitol Hill that no matter what Obama wants, he gets.  He shuts down the coal industry, he gets unlimited subsidies to the most expensive power sources available and meanwhile shuts down the least expensive power source (hydro).  He is transforming the manufacturing, transportation and communications industries into subsidiaries of the federal government, all under the name of "fairness, the climate and safety", while espousing his support of the middle class, which he is systematically eliminating.  He is now dictating that he wants citizens, that have already destroyed urban areas, to be shipped into subsidized housing in areas they’ve yet to destroy. 

This is not to mention the unprecedented scope of government transformation within the various agencies that answer to the White House under the Executive Branch.  His granting of powers well beyond the checks and balances--within the Constitution-- is mind boggling and travels all the way down to arming and providing ammunition to almost every agent under federal authority.  Nevermind he has authorized the purchase of hundreds of millions of rounds of ammunition, enough to kill every man, woman and child within our borders.  Except for illegal aliens and government lackeys of course.

And with his recent revelation that he is, “just getting started”, I have no doubt the complete demise of Liberty and Freedom is just around the corner.  On a weekly basis Obama is rewriting the Constitution, violating his Oath of Office and reducing his status to a quasi dictatorship.  His ambitions and actions are without precedent. 

Ask me now if Obama will repeal and ignore the 22nd Amendment and I will tell you, Yes, Yes and Hell Yes.

A Case for Trust

Dianny, as a take off of your Hillary rant, I couldn’t help think that she is her own worst example of why you should never trust Hillary.

I was reminded of the Rose Law firm records that was lost for ages then suddenly appeared in her residence.  And who could forget that Hillary was ransacking Vince Foster’s office, after he was found dead and before officials had arrived to investigate his suicide, er, uh questionable death. 

And lest we not forget, it was Hillary that amassed a 10,000% profit on a “beef futures” investment, which has been more correctly characterized as a bribe.  And who could forget her denial of being a lawyer for Madison Guarantee Trust.  She also “wasn’t” responsible for Travelgate or the theft of thousands of dollars in taxpayer owned goodies, when she and Bill left the White House.  Nor was she lying about the Muslim offending movie maker, her roll in the death of State Dept. employees at Bengazi or the subsequent disappearance of her emails, during that debacle.

In fact, I don’t think she has been responsible for anything her entire life.  Said like a good little Marxist, Lefty she is. 

Nevermind it was Hillary who endured the parade of bimbos in and out of husband Bill’s Arkansas’ governor’s office and the Oval Office, which she dismissed with an explanation of the “Vast Right Wing Conspiracy”.  All of which will be surely reran over and over and over again during this election cycle. 

But if you’re like my mother, the little old lady that works with my wifey at the local library or a friend of a friend, who is retired government, and thinks Obama is the second coming, you will certainly pull the handle for Hillary, because you’re about as smart and informed as a box of rocks.

The title says it all.  Having caste off all sense of memory, history or corrupt details, the Media has boxed in and set the meme for all things Obama.  Even conservative pundits tend to forget the cudgel we have been beat with, when crafting snarky answers, or even ‘snarkier’ questions, as TV talking heads.  There appears to be no end to the rabbit holes for history.

The lists of presidential and pre-presidential gaffs are posted all over the Internet for all to see, however, few review them before throwing in the towel, due to a highly suspect Supreme Court  decision.  Such was last night’s The Kelly File, with Megyn Kelly.

Her interview with presidential candidate Ted Cruz was like a spaniel puppy rolling over for a belly rub, when it came to Cruz objecting to the Supreme Court decision on Obamacare.  “It is the law, they won, you lost“, said Kelly.  Perhaps her submission is because she, and Cruz, were both clerks to Supreme Court Justices.  But she should have known better.

It’s as if there was no questionable run-up to this decision; no behind closed door sessions; no bipartisan vote; no consideration to read it before voting for it; no attention to the main architect, Jonathan Gruber, who painfully bragged about, “the ignorance of the American people”, when crafting it; a complete lack of candor, by Obama, when he described the Bill as money saving, doctor saving, hospital saving and coverage saving as bedrock elements in the Act. 

Nevermind that the whole ACA was a fraud from the beginning and upheld by the Supremes rewriting, earlier, a key element as a tax and NOT a penalty, six of these nine vultures voted to rewrite the Act once again to save it.  Despite their legal obligation to follow the Constitution, Megyn Kelly smugly announced that it is now over and done with, because the Supremes said it was.

Sorry Ms. Kelly, if ever there was judicial injustice this last ACA decision was it.  You can hang pearls on a pig, but it is still a pig.  The difference here is you fail to see the difference between a pig and a thoroughbred.

Falling for Obama

So now we’re being told that the ‘Republican’ leadership is pushing for the ‘Obamatrade’ deal, which they have NOT read.  Not to point out the obvious, but haven’t we seen this movie already?  Let’s Review:

Obama lied, cheated and crammed Obamacare down our throats, by making the Dems vote it into law without reading it.  It is now a categorical failure, not worthy of the paper it was written on and now costing America over a trillion dollars and counting.

Obama yanked American troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan, while declaring victory and now ISIS is taking over both countries.  They show their fear of us by beheading everyone that is not a radical Muslim.

Obama has declared that America is now the most respected country on the planet.  Never mind that none of our allies trust us and our enemies laugh themselves into a hysterical stupor when Obama challenges them.

Obama says he respects our sovereignty but has allowed hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens to cross our borders and gives them free healthcare, IRS bonus checks, free rent, free food, early release from committing felonies and unemployment benefits to make them wish they had stayed home.

Obama has contradicted just about EVERYTHING he ever said about someone else in power, since he has been in power.  Either he was lying then, he’s lying now, or both.

You pretty well know when you are through lying to someone, when they start complaining 6 years into your administration.

You know when you are bullet proof when the folks guarding you refuse to put a bullet in your head, because it might put a dent in the sales of the book they plan to write about protecting the most corrupt president in history. 

This thing just writes itself doesn't it?

Dumb Denny Done did the Dallies

Denny Hastert has really stepped in it now.  The former Speaker of the House was caught, if belatedly, with his trouser trout out.  Then to make things really interesting he was caught violating some of the banking laws that he was responsible for.  Now I don't want to go out on a limb here, but this is like standing on your laces while trying to tie your shoes. 

Now Denny has the unique privilege of looking his once loving wifey and children in the eye, while trying to figure out how he's going to keep paying the blackmailer/victim/damn Hotty he bounced off the shower walls, back in high school.  Then there's all those consulting contracts and speaking engagements he used to finance the payoff.  That is looking out the window about now. 

Pundits are snarking about how he should just change his name to "Clinton" and be done with it.  Au Contraire, my simple Pilgrims, that angle was devised and abused by the Clintons and the privilege will not be transferred to Denny.   He is twisting in the wind blown by all the media.  This will probably not end in a prison sentence, but he may end up wishing it did.  Whatever 'wad' he had is now blown, both figuratively and literally.

But he can rest assured the liberal media will milk it for all it's worth to cover for Hillary for at least a few more weeks.  Thanks Denny.
