Yes, I’m torn.  It was five years ago this month that I posted a comment on Conservative Treehouse that relayed a story I read about a cabdriver and his passenger out of Miami, Florida.

It was the passenger that said he could stop the craziness of the pre-election Trump hysteria in a week.  He proposed taking six liberal congressmen out of the Capitol building, shooting them and leaving their bodies to rot in the street.  The implication was that anyone else subscribing to the hysteria would be treated the same.  That posting was deleted by the Conservative Treehouse.

Well, here we are.  Four years of the Trump presidency, with all its lunacy from the Left, and now six months of Resident Biden destroying everything accomplished in the previous administration, and what do we make of the situation?  Either the Dumbplumber is psychic or the cab passenger was escaping from the CIA. Either way Conservative Treehouse and its scribe ‘Sundance’ seriously missed the boat in 2016.

Whether it’s the stolen election of 2020, the unbridled riots in Portland, Minneapolis or Seattle; the open Mexican border; the COVID mandates; the out-of-control spending by the Democrats in Congress (now in the trillions) or the failure of the Afghan pullout, we are in a shitstorm of hurt with no end in sight.

Right about now the sacrifice of six liberal, out of touch, socialists seems like a pretty good deal to this Plumber, if it would have kept us out of this debacle.

What a difference a day makes

Seems like only yesterday that we were driving around on $3 gasoline, we were building manufacturing back up in the U.S., the Wall and diplomacy was inhibiting the influx of Illegals from the south, taxes were low and getting lower, inflation was low and minority labor force was flourishing.

ISIS was defeated and the Taliban was in a box in Afghanistan.  Our allies were behind us against China and Russia and we had the toughest military in the world.

Then November 3rd 2020, changed everything.

In seven short months we have devolved into a chasm of distrust and resistance.  The hysteria of COVID and its associated mandates, edicts, directives and dictates have the nation divided.  On the coasts and in all major cities businesses are hamstrung and headed for bankruptcy due to this manufactured crisis.  However in the hinterlands its business as usual, except for the lack of inventory, deliveries and materials due to the shortages of raw materials and labor necessary for the things the rural folks need to conduct their businesses.

Yes, these are the things that we all know, with or without the daily reminders from the media.  What we don’t know is how to get out of this mess and who and when we are going to follow this person or persons to get us out.

One thing is for sure.  The current regime has neither the will nor the incentive to get us out or even to try to get us out. We are being manipulated by those who are too stupid to know that their plan is unsustainable.  Too many of us are wise to the plan and will not comply when the rubber meets the road.

Weapons aside, there are over 200 million of us that have the fortitude and determination to resist compliance of a failing administration.  And we lack only the spark and leadership to combust this mixture into a full throttled rebellion.

Well Here We Are

Well, here we are folks.  It's August of 2021 and we are aren't just in a pickle, we are in a pickle in a jar, in a damp basement of the Bates Motel.  Yes, people are looking around and wondering, not just how we got here, but how we got this far this fast and this deep.

It seems just a short time ago that gas prices were the lowest in 30 years, jobs were scarce as everyone was working and getting ahead.  Interest rates were the lowest since Ricky Nelson was making hit records and the Olsen twins were infants. Oh yeah, those were the days.  Congressmen and women were making crumbs, but not making cake.  The poor were working, the middle class were prospering and the upper class were just keeping score, because once you have enough money, you don't need any more.

Then Boom, November 3 2021 happened.  The long anticipated realization that our Constitutional Republic was in jeopardy, hit home like a hydrogen bomb.  In the middle of the night all the key counties, in all the key states experienced explosions in their vote counts at about the same time.  Video of the vote counting areas of these states confirmed that a theft of the 2020 election was in progress.  And no one did anything about it but wring their hands and said there would be investigations, audits and a reconciliation of  events that would reinstate the rightful winners.

And here we are eight months into a faux administration, with illegal immigration exploding, our military undermined, our energy sector in shambles, and all we here is that we are all racists, homophobes and bigots and we are protesting the most secure, fair election in our history.  But the Liberals aren't stopping there.  We are selectively being persecuted for not wearing masks depending on our political persuasion, we are selectively being prosecuted for expressing our political beliefs and we are systematically being doxed, deleted and defamed for expressing our Constitutional rights.

Now, I don't want to go out on a limb here, but I don't see any of this having a good outcome.

I also don't need anyone else telling me, selling me or otherwise soliciting my hard earned money to inform me of what I already know.  I don't need a hat, a banner or a flag in my yard to express how I feel. What I want is one, just one, person to tell me what it is that I or anyone else can do to stop the crippling erosion of our rights and liberties as outlined in our US Constitution.   Now this cannot be hard.  Our rights are spelled out in clear detail in a small booklet you can put in your shirt pocket.  But for some reason the erosion is being called out from on high by folks that took an oath to that same Constitution just a few months ago.

The powers to be tell us the only solution is to sue for the reinstatement of these rights by draining our meager savings to hire lawyers, to argue before judges who are appointed by the offending parties, then continue to appeal these cases all the way to the Supreme Court, who would not and will not hear bonafide arguments to the original theft of the election that started the landslide in the beginning.

No, folks we are at a crossroads in our society that lawyers cannot argue their way out of.  We have reached the apex of ignorance that no judge is qualified, or has the balls, to adjudicate.

The U. S. Constitution levied the power to the people of the country, then to the states, then to the federal government, not the other way around.  And until we exert that power, we will continue to be subjects, not citizens of this great country.

Killing the messenger

It is with much amusement and not a little irony that I witness the goings on today.  Election fraud, mucho rallies, mondo lawsuits, media manipulation and Congressional asshats muddying Constitutional intent to mystify the sheeples.

I won’t imply that I am a psychic, but I felt this day was coming some 4 years ago.

It was in the late summer or early fall of 2016, I relayed a story I had gleaned from the Interwebs.  I told of a cab driver in Miami, who had picked up an early fare going from his hotel to the Miami airport.

The passenger was smartly dressed in a suit and was carrying a briefcase, headed to who-knows-where from Miami.  The conversation with the cabbie had evolved from the weather and flying to the state of affairs surrounding Donald Trump, the conservative pick of the American people.

For those that remember, Donald had bested an entire slate of nominees by his wit and wisdom to steel the hearts and minds of millions of Americans.  He was the one everyone had said they were waiting for.  A businessman and multi-billionaire, who was funding his own campaign and running to represent the people who elected him and not the dreaded special interests.

The traveler told the cabbie that he could end the caustic cabal against Trump in less than a week very easily.  He proposed dragging a half dozen liberal congressmen down the Capital steps, shoot them in the head and leave them in the street.  Because, he said, “the only thing that Liberals respect is power”.

I was impressed.  The posting encapsulated the heart and soul of the situation.  It wasn’t a mistake that I submitted this event to the Conservative Treehouse, a right of center blog hosted by “Sundance”, a mythical creature with excellent writing skills.  It was a mistake, when Sundance deleted my posting, under the guise of deleting a posting that advocated violence.

So, here we are, four years of media manipulation, unbridled and unprecedented attempts at unseating a sitting president, lying and intimidation by Congressional stooges, who act at the behest of multiple billionaires and not the folks that elected them, while either acting as if they are members of a party that supports the president or a party that hates the president.

Lives have been lost, property has been destroyed, businesses have been decimated and laws have been broken.  And now, an election has been corrupted, all because we couldn’t or wouldn’t do the right thing when we had the chance.  Every element of dishonesty and deceit has been leveled at this man and only a token number of scofflaws have been held accountable.

No, it wasn’t about my advocating violence, violence has already happened on its own.  It was about failing to see the obvious and stopping it before it festered.

On the bright side, Sundance has gone on to be one of the pre-eminent writers of the conservative movement.  On the other side, he/she has displayed a critical failure in the ability to see and convey what is right in front of them.

It isn’t because I didn’t care or that Sundance isn’t concerned, it is above my paygrade and way out of my wheelhouse to do anything about what is happening, I am but a humble plumber.  But is writers like Sundance to have the basic vision to see, that once the pin is pulled, not putting it back in is a recipe for disaster.
