An Idea Whose Time has Come

It has already begun. Since November 6, I have fielded no less than five telephone solicitations for funds to beat back the Liberals in the NEXT election. The ‘Pitch’ goes something like this: “Will you help us stop the Progressives and Liberals, come next election?”

To this I answer: “No, you idiot. You shoved Mitt Romney down my throat, against my will. And in doing so, you belittled, insulted and ignored the Tea Party and their candidates, which were instrumental in giving you the majority in the House in 2010”.

Truth of the matter is, these politicos are sucking the conservatives dry, with promises of future wins that cannot and will not happen, given the voting and campaigning corruption of the last election.

Here’s an idea whose time is way late in coming. Why don’t we direct some of that anger, aggression and frustration in a way that will change the hearts and minds of those that would end America as we know it? Why don’t we begin a program that will make socialism, Marxism and cronyism so distasteful they will die for lack of interest? Why don’t we make some lemonade out of lemons?

Time to rally the disgruntled, unemployed, patriotic, former military, law enforcement or intelligence agents, highly trained in surveillance, interdiction, confrontation and behavior modification (for lack of a better term), to act on behalf of patriotic Americans, to restore respect for our Constitution and fulfill the Pledge they took when entering service.

Of course, those that are egregiously violating our Founder’s wishes can expect to experience some discomfort, which they will be quick to claim are violations of their rights.  I would submit that in executing ‘their’ violations they forfeited the protections granted the rest of us. Think of it as a temporary sacrifice for the greater good.

So, if someone wants to start a Fundraiser for this cause, let me know and I will be the first to donate. It might take a while, but I think we would find that a few patriotic votes by Congressmen and Senators in casts and wheel chairs will generate significant revenues towards a broader respect for America and what She stands for.
