New Rules for Unions

We all know that union members live in an alternative universe. We all know that they routinely shut down businesses and regional governments to extort exorbitant pay and benefit packages, while personally flaunting foreign made clothes, electronics and autos, built by low paid non-union workers. But few of us know of some of their other hypocrisies.

For instance, many union members routinely take second jobs at nonunion businesses. And it’s not only on the Sopranos that you see union members doing a little contracting on the side, building decks, painting houses, roofing buildings remodeling garages and constructing man caves, at well below union wages. But the hypocrisy doesn’t stop there. Union members have been known to engage in buying and selling autos, jewelry, coins and other unregulated transactions then NOT reporting the profits on their taxes. And eBay is infested with union members pillaging and plundering buyers and sellers without so much as a glance by the IRS.

And while the rest of us will have Obamacare shoved down our throats, the U.S. Congress and the president(who will be doing the shoving) and unions will most likely be exempt from participating, by virtue of them being more equal than the rest of us. I can’t wait for them to try and cut in line at the clinics and hospitals. But you can be assured that they will have a doctor’s private line on speed dial at the sign of the first sniffle or paper cut.

You see, while over 80% of America works hard to pay their taxes and the costs of the bloated bureaucracy of Government, Unions don’t have to work nearly as hard. What they do have to do is just go along with der Leader and keep supporting every hair-brained socialist program he rolls out for the rest of us.

No, while we 80%ters are being fitted for harness and shackles, the Congress, the President and 18% of America are doing the fitting, but are excluded from participating.
